I want to use two Subwoofers. The back panel allows for two cables to be used for two Subwoofers. Only one channel works. I"ve tried exchanging Monsters cable and different Settings.

Upgraded from my older AVR-1911. I compared the AVR-S910W to comparably priced Onkyo and to AVR-X1200W and AVR-X2200W. Absent the Zone 2 pre-outs I found the 910w to be best suited to my needs ---- at a much better price point. Truthfully, based on specs it is a more robust system than the x1200W that sells in Magnolia for $100 more -- and is very closely spec'd to the AVR-X220W at $300 more. Set up was a breeze with clear, graphical step-by-step walk-though. Wifi and Bluetooth connected first time. After running Audyssey I swear this receiver drives my Polk speakers much better than my older AVR1911. Sounds a crisp and vibrant. Could not be more pleased with this unit.

Might have been a good unit I just could not get it to recognize the other parts of my home theater. I ended up going with a pioneer

I replaced an old Onkyo 608 as I now needed HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 support (for Roku 4 and PC) to connect to my 4K TV (Vizio P65 that has one HDMI 2.0 input and supports HDCP 2.2). What a deal at $499 (on sale) - made me choose this over the current Onkyo models. All the 4K stuff works flawlessly, and some Vudu 4K movies support ATMOS so that's awesome. I added two front ceiling speakers (added to my 5.1 setup) for ATMOS. Setup was a breeze (it did take a few minutes to update its firmware first). The sound is bright, clear and rich - very well balanced - for both music and movies. My Roku 4 already passes through at 4K@60Hz. For the other devices (1080p) I am not using the amp's built-in video upscaling features since its 4K upscaling only goes up to 30Hz. The Vizio TV does a great job of upscaling 720p, 1080i and 1080p to 4K@60Hz anyway. I saw one glitch so far - one time, while playing a 4K Vudu movie on Roku 4, it complained that the device does not support HDCP 2.2. Turning the receiver off and on fixed that. My 5.1.2 speakers: I am using NHT Super Two as front speakers, a Definitive Tech 2000 as center, NHT SW2 subwoofer, Definitive ProMonitor 800 as rear speakers, and inexpensive Insignia bookshelf speakers as the front ceiling speakers for ATMOS. All in all, very happy with this receiver. Since it does HDMI 2.0a 18Gbps (Full HDR hardware support) and HDCP 2.2 - I should be set for five years with it.

I purchased the AVR-S910W after returning a Pioneer Elite VSX-90. The VSX-90 had a horrible setup application and could not hold a wireless connection. After fighting with that unit for over a week I could not believe how easy it was to setup the Denon. Less than 30 minutes from unpacking to having it up, fully functional playing my Pandora stations. The setup is very similar to the Marantz NR-1605 that I have running in another room. In fact the Marantz remote app that I have on my iPhone can also see and control the Denon. (ok thanks to a quick google I just realized that Denon and Marantz merged in 2002, learned something new) Summary - The Denon AVR-S910W is packed with features, easy to setup, works great on wireless and SOUNDS WONDERFUL.

This Denon AVR-S910W replaces my five year old Denon AVR-1910, two weeks ago. Denon is nothing but quality with simplicity! I just wanted to upgrade for when the time comes to buy a 4K, UHD TV with this Denon receiver having ALL the fine features. The Denon AVR-S910W Wi-Fi feature, recognized my ATT U-Verse wireless router and took 3 minutes to download their updates into the receiver. HDMI sources connected to the receiver are: ATT-Uverse box, TV, DVD player, one 14 year old DVR with component input/outputs, and 5.1 surround JBL speaker system. Everything functions with a one touch Logitec Harmony 650 programmable remote that I recently purchased from Best Buy. I noticed the other day, on Best Buy's Website, this Denon AVR-S910W receiver had a reduced sale price by $30.00. The local store honored the sale price with a refund. Thank You Best Buy!

    Great Receiver

This is a great receiver, with plenty of HDMI ports, and it sounds great. My last several receivers have all been Pioneer Elite, but this one is way nicer, and I really wasn't impressed by the Pioneers since Onkyo bought them. Also, the Audyssey calibration system in this Denon yields by far the best results I've seen from any of the similar systems.

Good receiver, decent output, lots of features. Unfortunately mine started randomly making popping noises on every channel, no matter what was connected or playing (or not). Probably covered by warranty, but a pain in the butt since I've only owned it less than 4 months. Regretted not buying a Yamaha, which I've always purchased and have never, ever failed me.

This receiver could not have been better at this price point. I see huge difference in my sound stage versus my old setup without changing my speakers. I am delighted with my setup now. The 4K upscaling is done very well for a mid priced unit. I would not hesitate to recommend this receiver to my friends and family

This unit sounds great and has more than enough HDMI connections. Like being able to connect to Internet radio wireless. Easy to setup with the included mic.
