Volume is much louder when streaming than when using the cable. We simply don't understand how to make proper adjustments as to avoid messing up the entire system. This receiver was a replacement for another which was turning off the entire system randomly.

Speakers tested OK with another receiver. Returned this item to Best Buy for an identical model. Spent numerous hours trying to get it to play music from a CD player. Also, Zone 2 would not work. Spent over an hour with Denon support and they could not get the unit to perform properly. Returned product to Best Buy and exchanged it for a different make, installed it, and everything works fine. Given the time and effort on my part, I would rate this product lower than the minimum allowable one star.
