Replacement unit did not pair to TV. This receiver was sold to us as the best option and would do the trick. It didn't.

Tried setting up atmos tower speakers for 5.1.2 and in manual cleay states must be assigned a certain way. When plugging in the calibrator assigning the speakers in atmos to front is not an option. After auto calibration had to go in and manually put speaker configuration for atmos in front and now calibration is gone. Roku ultra also only played in stereo had no issues with 2 other previous receivers with Roku but this one wouldn't work. As for xbox series x and ps5 the inputs work and offer all picture options. I returned to try onkyo 6100 when available.

Sound quality is sub par. Not recommended

The sound quality in stereo and airplay modes are terrible. The same Bowers & Wilkins when paired with Denon RCD-N10 produced excellent sound; but when paired with this the sound was well below average. Do not buy this if you want decent stereo sound. Do not buy this if you want excellent surround sound. The speakers get boomy and sloppy because the amp is not fast to run the speakers well. Would recommend moving up to the X3700H range or above with Denon

Bad and not too bad

After a 3 month wait, the "Expert" sold me a unit not able to do what I described and needed. Even after describing the needs before the installer began, she didn't realize it until after it was installed. The installer took it back and said I'd hear from her today...I didn't and I had to call. My calls were responded to quickly and Anthony processed a credit for the unit. Now it's Monday the 3rd and I am waiting to hear the status of a replacement. Be interesting how this progresses. The remaining question needed to be answered to send this review. Round peg in a square hole.

This item switches multiple times a second between random inputs if HDMI control is on even if there is only one device turned on. There appears to be an issue recently with the connection with an apple tv 4k where the sound goes out briefly for a few seconds, this appears related to dolby armos. The receiver also turns on and off itself or has issues with various sound modes. Denon's social media page just blows tou off if you bring any of this up.

Graphics EQ is really bad in context of an end user. I got other receiver far less price compared to this one. The bass and the treble are awesome comparing with denon.
