Customers are saying
Customers are enthusiastic about the ease of use, affordable price, and compact size of the Desktop - AMD A6-Series computer. Many appreciate its performance and sufficient storage for everyday tasks. While some experienced issues with the pre-installed operating system, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these concerns. The computer is considered suitable for basic computing needs, but not high-level gaming.

Quick, clean and crisp.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer. It is great for internet browsing and doing multiple things at once. It is very quick and the windows 10 is very nice. It works well for watching Netflix, streaming, web surfing and writing papers. The only thing its not the best for is video and photo editing.

Great slim design with a punch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this computer for kids to do homework. So far it's been great. Great price for all the juice it has. From basic gaming to homework and back in a flash. This computer also has wireless and Bluetooth. Comes with new keyboard and mouse which is a bonus. Does not come with screen of course.

Good PC if you understand its limits
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this PC to store movies on and run a home server streaming to a WD Live TV box connected to my TV using the software Serviio. It also hosts my Air Video HD server as well. It does this wonderfully and I plan to install a solid state drive in it at some point to make it run even better. If you have a very basic purpose for this machine it is great. Don't expect a workhorse.

At first not so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We use this computer in a small work environment. At first it was painfully slow even the simplest things were click and go get a cup of coffee. It actually finally crashed. Then I used the "wipe and reload Windows" option and now it works great with no trouble.

Great computer for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computer was a great investment. Had to upgrade my mom's after her old one died. This one is fast, quiet and compact in size so its saves a lot of space. It comes with more than enough USB slots as well as an hdmi and vga slot.

Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed to replace my wife's desktop and since she just uses it for web browsing decided to get a already built one instead of building another one. Looked at this HP model and it fit the requirements she needed. Good PC at a Great Price.

Powerful enough for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I gave this computer a 4 out of 5 stars....Tried it out thinking it wouldn't be powerful enough to run a pc game like dragon age...Got into my origin account and I have a digital download of dragon age so I thought why not?....Downloaded the digital download and to my surprise the game ran I won't tell you it ran the greatest but was good enough to play. I tried the disk version of dragon age and some reason the disk didn't work...oh well the digital download worked...close to slow motion speed but still had fun with the game.....not a bad computer for the value

Just ok
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this computer on the good reviews it had. It needed to go back to the Geek Squad to get checked for problems, but I got sick and wasn't able to take it in before the warranty expired. So, I'm shopping for a new one again. Mine freezes up to where you can't do anything, and makes a horrible loud noise when it does. The only way to fix it is to shut it off, and restart it. It also makes a humming noise periodically, which quits if you push in on the sides. I'm not sure if it's the keyboard or the processor, it's like it can't pick up what your typing and it's slow to pick up the internet and the keyboard when browsing the internet.

Nice computer until you go on-line.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice computer until you go on-line. I have DSL internet service. My last computer worked fine, however this new computer is way to slow for on line work. I am also unable to down load google Chrome after several attempts. Everything takes so long to down load and window 10 finally gives up. Email is also very slow, and often crashes. This is my second HP A6. I returned the first computer. The second computer worked better until 2-3 weeks later. The trouble shooting feature of Windows 10 did not see any issues. This is a good computer for word processing, but I don't think the A6 computer design is robust if you have DSL internet service.

Buyer beware; extremely slow for casual usage.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I was looking for a replacement for my old desktop; as we are currently sharing a laptop between 3 people, two of which have homework and intermediate gaming needs. The laptop we currently have just squeaks by in graphics. I set it up and it couldn't even complete the installation process for STEAM or Battlenet. It took over 24 hours for it to complete 1/8 of the way. I tried watching streaming video and the videos consistently buffered, which doesn't happen on my laptop. I attempted to install Google Chrome thinking it may have been Firefox that was the problem. The installation would have taken more than 3 hours to complete. I could not pull up my bank's website, and for online shopping the page only half loaded. I then proceeded to load the pages from my cell phone, which was also connected to my Wifi. All I have to say is those are some pretty nice specifications for a computer that can't handle what my cell phone did in less time. Due to this, I contacted Best Buy immediately to set up a return, mind you I have had this product roughly 24 hours. They said they would take it back as I had 15 days to return. Having set up all of my accounts and removed the pre-loaded software I decided to do a factory reset to get my personal data off the machine and have it user-ready for open box sales. Windows 10 got stuck at 46% during the reset and won't complete. NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

Had it for a month, out 3 weeks for repair
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was looking for a lower-price CPU to replace a prior HP unit - this one got decent reviews and the price was right. Almost immediately after getting it home I noticed the CPU was a little noisier than my last one ... didn't think much of it until one day I got a blue screen and a notice there was a problem with the fan. So, around a month after purchase Geek Squad is sending it back to HP for repairs. After around 3 weeks at HP, I finally get a notice that the CPU must be replaced (and not repaired) ... now I get to go back to BB and work out these details, then go through the whole setup process all over again (including a file restore from the cloud backup). TERRIBLE PRODUCT!
