Not Worth It!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Mechanically brilliant but pretty soulless and shocking unimaginative. Destiny 1.5? More like, the original Destiny was 0.5 and this is about 1.1. I played the heck out of D1 and whilst the quality of life is much better here, planets are more beautiful and slightly better designed, it's still just a corridor/occasional open-space shooter. There's no lore to speak of, it's all just a grind, the strikes are virtually indistinguishable from one another and PvP is just completely pointless as it stands with a dearth of modes and boring maps.

Bungie screwing up again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first ever bad review and Bungie have messed up in the first Destiny. I should have known Destiny 2 was going to be a bust. You locked out on grinding for a week after cap and the raid is systematic it's unreal. I wouldn't get my worst enemy to buy the game.

Rinse and Repeat
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just like the first one. Literally. Just more polished. Micro transactions for cosmetics, at least it does not affect gameplay. The other half of the game is sold as the 'expansion' pass.

More of the Same
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not worth the 3 year wait. A good 50% of the gear and guns, which are their big selling point, are just re skinned from the first game but less fun because you can't customize it outside of the gear mods (which are lame). PVP is boring being only 4v4. There are so many stupid decisions that make me kinda hate Bungie. I purchased this to play with friends like many others but everyone is already getting bored. The game is so shallow and stale less than a month in. The single raid is redeeming since it's fun and challenging. The problem is it's all about placement and memorization of roles so I can see it getting too easy once people down it a time or two. Oh and obvious micro-transactions, I don't care that much since it's a common trend but I don't like their being an in game currency that is only available if you buy it. That and it feels like a slap in the face given the lack of content everywhere else. Did I mention that most of the END GAME gear is a DIRECT COPY of D1 gear? Come on.....seriously...

Terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Should not have bought this game, the Crucible PVP is terrible. In the first Destiny you it was 6 V 6 & you could choose the mode you wanted to play. I really loved playing Control. However in Destiny 2 its 4 V 4 and you have no choice as to what mode you want to play on. This is trash that the player cannot choose the mode in Crucible to play the mode he wants. Terrible trash of a game.

Destiny 2.0
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is more of the same that you can expect from Destiny all it is is just a little extra polish if you're into looter shooters then this is the game for you.The grind is endless but it's not fun

Sad Sequel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game had a lot of potential, but instead of Bungie building on the success of Destiny and what they did right to fix it. They have oversimplified the game and dumbed it down to where it is a mere shell of what is should be. Do not waste your time with this game, it is broken and I am not sure if they will be able to fix it.

Solo unfriendly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because it was on sale which I'm glad I did. I felt this game is based towards "in game purchases ". I devoted most of a Saturday to grind for gear, but no luck. It seems the only way to achieve that is to play the hardest activities which proved impossible solo since I don't have any online friends on the same schedule as me. The other way is to just use real money to bypass any grinding/farming. Did not enjoy my time with destiny 2.

Dissapointed w/ Activision conduct
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great game that Activision ruined by taking away the included DLC with the original purchase.

The Same as the First
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's pretty much the same game as the first. Big worlds and little to do in them. It comes with the free DLC to try to get you into the newer DLC that doesn't come with this game. Forsaken is the newest DLC that you have to pay full price to purchase.

51 GB Update
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Price was great. Unfortunately for us non city folk who have satellite internet you can not play this game. It requires a 51 gb update. Getting a little frustrated with all these updates and not being able to play a game out of the box.

It's Eh
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has really really great gunplay, however, it isn't so good. Even playing with a friend it just felt boring, and it was worse knowing that sooner or later, I'd have the dlc required messages shoved down my throat

Not like the OG
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.destiny 1 was a lot better. This installment changed too much of what made the first one great. I wouldn't waste money on this. But if you must, if free for PS Plus members this month - September 2018.

Story is alright
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Story is alright, but be warned to pay an extra few hundred dollars if you get into the multiplayer aspect of this game. That's putting it lightly. Only bought this because it was selling for ten dollars.

I really wanted to like this game...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. But you literally do the same thing over and over without any sense of accomplishment. The graphics and gameplay are top notch but the micro transactions and repetition ruined it for me.
