I got this game free when I picked up the pro, thought about trading it but decided to jump in and see the fuse. Story wise, I missed the first so not super invested but a genuinely good supporting cast of characters (cay is hilarious). I'm no a huge fps gamer so this was different but it is bungie through and through. Feels amazing and the graphics are to die for (finally a game to get excited about). Overall, I'm glad I played it instead of trading.

I really didnt think much of the first Destiny. The mechanics of the game worked well but the lack of story and constant grind made me lose interest quick. Out of boredom i decided to give Destiny 2 a shot and im so happy i did. This is everything the first game should have been. The story is well thought out and paced really well, it gives you a connection with your world and your character. Graphically its stunning, i have it on the PS4 Pro and its wonderful to look at and the soundtrack adds to the immersion. Overall its a top title with major improvements. If you didn't like the first i recommend you try this one. its great

This was a gift but after reading and looking at the online video I decided that Destiny 2 was for me. A great way to unwind and take your mind off work with a lot of action of another kind.

So far it seems to be better than destiny 1 so that's a good thing. The game itself is pretty fun but now I feel like I have done most of the things to do on here so I play here and there now.

I thought this was a very good game overall and liked playing with my friends when they were on. Its not one I generally grab first to play but it was fine while everyone was onboard to play.

I'm new to the shooting games and before even purchasing COD, I ended up purchasing this game. It helped me ease in to playing shooting games and the storyline is very captivating. I might purchase the expansion packs because i definitely got my money's worth on this game.

I played Destiny 1 and that was fun as well, but now with destiny 2 gameplay is excellent, multiplayer is fun and addicting the only thing I would recommend is an option to pick a certain modes than a spin the wheel type deal. But overall Bungie did great work on this game.

They switched up the game some and some of it was good and then you also have some bad changes. The class and weapon options are nearly non existent. I loved having all of the options for my weapons and classes, I wished they would have expanded it. The graphics are amazing and the controls are still smooth. I like the changes they did with the public events and the maps. All in all, great game and I am looking forward for the next bit of content.

Despite its flaws, the original Destiny was an adequate game to play. Destiny 2 is a worthy successor to the previous game: better graphics, better playstyle, better music, over all significantly improved from the previous game and a worthwhile experience in its own right.

Better than the original in almost every way. Story is much more interesting and the gameplay is still very well done. Lot more content to start, unlike the first one.

Vanilla Destiny 1 was one of the biggest gaming disappointments in the history of gaming and it's first two expansions - TDB and HoW were both equally lame and empty. However, I felt Bungie turned a corner with TTK expansion and made legit improvements to the lot grind system and that continues here with Destiny 2. Gone are the days where you needed to play Destiny seemingly every day to make small gains. Now, you can log in once a week, do the tasks (called Milestones) and be done. Oh sure, there are still daily milestones, but you don't *need* to do them. Playing D2 feels less like a job and more like what Destiny should've always been - a fun game.

Everything is much more streamlined. I don't feel like i have to play it everyday like the first one. Pretty decent storyline and cayde-6 gives you quite a laugh everytime he' speaks.

Destiny 2 is great, more fun than Destiny 1 when it first released. Everything has been more streamlined, so everything is easier to access and manage. There is enough content to keep you coming back for more, but not necessarily every single day like in Destiny 1.

5 out of 5 with friends or if you're one to easily make friends. 3 out of 5 if purely a solo player. The look has been upgraded from the 1st Destiny, combat feels the same. New guns and types of guns. Exotics come more easily, leveling up and increasing light is fluid until the softcap (currently light 265) at which point weekly challenges and strikes are necessary which is where having friends will help you reach max level. Actual story with cutscenes, No new enemy races but new types among the established ones. Pvp has new modes including versions of search and destroy and kill confirmed.

Overall it's a pretty solid game, the graphics are pretty good and the main story line is interesting, but for a lot of the missions you can just run past the enemies and not have to defeat them. The campaign is really easy for the most part, but when it's easy, it's way too easy. And there is no harder difficulty to change it to, sadly. Thankfully, there are harder parts to the game like multiplayer, nightfall strikes, and there raid.

You've probably read this elsewhere but it needs to be repeated: Destiny 2 has a solid single-player campaign, but it truly shines if you have friends to play with. I enjoyed most of the campaign, even if it was a bit too easy at times, but struggled to find decent parties to join up with. And even when I did, I found too much of the game to be repetitive. Maybe it was just my impatience, but when I got stuck at a 265 power level after rather-rapidly gaining in strength, I grew very bored. I hope others have a better experience.

Great game and looks amazing. But, you will run out of content quickly and find yourself grinding in order to get slightly better gear which is necessary to access end game raids.

This game is so fun , get lost in the world of the guardians , storyline is great ! Gameplay is awesome new weapons and arm and some old and some new foes to face.

I played Destiny and loved it. When shopping at BestBuy one day, I got caught up watching the preview of the Destiny 2 game on the in store tv and I was instantly hooked. Amazing graphics, rad storyline and an abundance of challenges to fight through. 5 stars!
