Better story this time around with better graphics more to do make this a must buy! This is one of the better games of the year!

While Destiny 1 had an okay story, and some beautiful scenery, Destiny 2 takes it to a new level all together. there are still the likeable elements from the first game, but also new features that improve gameplay.

This is a great game with lots of in game possibilities. You will find yourself playing for hours with family, friends, or complete strangers.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 cause I have not played through. So far a great game, and I look forward digging deeper into it.

I was already a fan of the first Destiny despite all of its shortcomings. So it didn't take much to convince me to buy the sequel. Regardless, the quality of life improvements such as the revamped loot system, an abundance of side quests which provide more opportunities for better gear, better customization options and of course the simple fact that we now have a full campaign containing a story with a beginning, middle and end. Make this game great for new comers and veterans of the series alike.

If you like to grind playing the same missions for hours to get better gear then this game's for you.

I played the first one and was worried it was going to be the same thing. It has the familiar play style, but feels brand new. Has me hooked

I've put a lot of hours into this game and I'm having a blast. The game doesn't start until you've completed the story and you'll definitely want to have friends to play with as much of the endgame requires teams.

As fun, if not more than the original. The app helps as well for matchmaking and finding enough people to perform the nightfalls and raids.

Destiny 2 is an enjoyable play. With a smoother multiplayer environment and a more fully fleshed-out single player storyline, the game will certainly appeal to existing Destiny fans. Non fans will still enjoy it, but may not get the long-term satisfaction as some of the tasks can begin to wear thin after most of the major milestones have been accomplished.

I like the game. as good as 1st destiny game. multi options to play. doesnt carry players over. need to have a group to play higher levels

I never played the first one but the game was still fun to get into especially since i have a good amount of friends online to play with.

Better gameplay than the predecessor, lots of planets and loot available to kill time after campaign. Nightfall n Raids are fun to play..

Huge improvement over destiny 1, but still feels lacking. It's a good time sink and single player offers more than the last installment.

I can lose myself for hours in this game. Get the game, build your team (or join one) and enjoy the great storyline, gear and fantasy.

There's a lot Bungie has to fix for me to give this game a higher rating. It's not broken per se, but there are a lot of problems within the game itself. It relies too heavily on teams (IMO) leaving individuals out to dry for a great many of the activities. I love Destiny--I've played it for several years now. This has potential, and I hope and pray Bungie fixes their glaring issues to make this a truly spectacular game.

So I was a late arrival to Destiny 1, but played it enough to get through all the raids, and max out all 3 characters slots. Enjoyed playing the first Destiny quite a bit. As for Destiny 2, if you enjoyed Destiny then you will probably like the game play. It's much like the first but seems a bit more crisp, more detailed, more vibrant, more robust. I also like that the engrams are now automatically decoded when you pick them up. They also made it so you no longer need to store and decode them at the Cryptarch. Another plus is that you no longer need to throw on your highest light gear to get the most out of the decoding, the game will give you the highest light possible. Some cons: Seems like a continuation of Destiny. Nothing really new that stands out. PVP went from 6v6 to 4v4. I kind of like this. But some will disapprove. Also it depends what people are wearing in PVP. It pays to play a lot for the better gear. The newer players will not be as effective vs a person who has played (has better gear). Overall, I think it's kind of expensive. Would I buy it again? I work, so I make my own money, so yes I would. Would I buy it for my kids if they asked, and if I wasn't playing? It would be a hard sell.

My husband got it for Christmas and he loves it. He just received he ps4 so great games to cross from the Xbox from.. same concept

I loved the first version that came with the expansion packs and Rise of Iron, and played it right up until Destiny 2 was available. This one is great, with lots more to do on the different worlds. The story was more developed than Destiny 1, and the gameplay is mildly tougher. You really have to use cover and think through your plan of attack. But then they threw in tanks. Man, is it fun blowing Cabal all over the place! I'm gonna have many months of fun playing this one.

I bought this game after a few of my friends invited me to play with them. It is a lot of fun and has endless hours of game play.
