Solid mechanics and fun gameplay will have you playing for a while and with the upcoming DLC theres plenty more to come.

Worth the buy I’m my opinion. Great story that’s fun and challenging with plenty to keep you entertained for months with ongoing updates and online play after the main story is completed.

If you liked the other Destiny, this will be right up your alley. It's a good game, but sometimes it feels repetitive.

I'm honestly not a huge MMO game player, but this game is enjoyable in passing moments. Don't play for long periods at a time, but the weapons are fun and the controls are easy to pick up. Got it for free with Spider Man, so that was nice. Probably wouldn't purchase it if I didn't get it for free, though.

Fantastic game to play with friends. As far as playing solo, sure you can do it, but the real fun in this game is teaming up with friends and doing the missions, strikes, raids and pvp.

I actually enjoyed the campaign story modes. The new layout is a lot better as well. It is a lot easier to do things.

Overall a great follow up to the first one. Tough to have to deal with when you can't go online, but an awesome game!

Was fun till it wasn't. Story was cool, but after you reach 305 there wasn't much to do. At that time it was about a month or two in and most of us were done with the game. The DLC for Osiris was too long to wait for and then release seemed disappointing. Game would be fun if you could do more stuff with friends, limiting pvp to 4v4 hurts, only fire teams of 3. Still was fun though.

Coming from a Destiny vet since the beta days, I have to say that Bungie listened to all the complaints and requests that I personally had and wanted as well as much of the rest of the community. A fantastic campaign and storyline to make you nostalgic and appreciate the lore and nostalgia of the universe. Multiplayer feels different and more balanced than in D1. Can't wait to see what Bungie and Activision have for post game content.

Destiny 2 is picking up right where the first one left off story wise. The towers been under attack.... who are these monsters trying to destroy our world??? Find out in destiny 2

There are some balancing issues with the different classes but overall this game is still as good as the original

I never got to addictive to the first game and gave up after 50 hours playing it. The second one is a way better.

Never played the first one but I enjoy shooter games and it plays out the more you play the better loot you get

I really enjoyed this game. I purchased this for someone else for Christmas. Tremendously fun game, lots of hours of play. If you like first person shooters this game is for you

My son got this game and he loves it, as do I. Great graphics and story mode . Not too violent, loads of action.

The opening is awesome but early game progression is slow until your light is regained. Then, it's awesome again. Revamped weapons and gear interface takes time to get used to. Switching shaders to consumables is disappointing. New crucible gameplay is made better by smaller teams and game modes. Hitting the current top level of 20 goes fairly quickly and easy.Overall, familiar enemies and game play for players used to Destiny 1.

Bungie has again made a decent sequel to a game. This time the play is a bit better but still has its quirks...

I got this game for my husband because of his love of the first game. He said this game is just as good if not better than the first one and interacts well with the first story.

Let's get this out of the way first of all, if you're a fan of the original Destiny then you're pretty much guaranteed to love Destiny 2. It is really more of the same. The story is better though. The characters are a little more fleshed out. The gameplay is a slightly modified version of what it previously was. If you're like me and have a ton of hours clocked in on the original Destiny, you'll find a lot to love here as well.

There's a lot less grinding but there's also a lot less to do. Once the DLC drops, it should be a bit better.
