Destiny 2 is quite an upgrade from Destiny 1. There are quite a few quality of life changes such as being able to travel without needing to go to orbit. More opportunities to acquire gear through varied activities and an enhanced story. I did have some server issues but I am presuming a lot of that is due to popularity of the game during the launch. There is one other thing I dislike and that is they made shaders one time use, which I dislike (hence the 4 stars). I would recommend this game if you enjoyed the previous one and if you were on the fence this could be worth a try.

I used to play countless hours of destiny 1. Hated every bit of it in the end. The grind was too much. Destiny 2 is more rewarding for the casual players and it’s the type of game I look forward to spending my free time now.

This is a fun game but there is one thing that is not made 100% clear in the description. It is not a true single player game. It is an online, team based shooter, which is ok, but you must be online and a PlayStation + member to truly get the whole experience. Meaning you buy the game and spend additional money to be able to play it. Luckily there were deals during this season but otherwise you end up tripling the cost of the game if you go in unaware. You can also continue to add cost by unlocking levels, weapons and dlc. I dislike any game with a pay to play option if they are at a premium price at purchase. Buyer beware if you are looking for a robust, solitary, single player experience.

Great game, fast paced, action packed fun shooter with friends!

Solid campaign and online multiplayer. Having some technical problems, the game will fail to start up or the PS4 will fail to recognize the disk is inserted. Good game save for the software issues.

Really enjoy the game play and feel wish there was a story mode

No one makes a shooter like Bungie. It's much better with friends, but fun by yourself as well. The story is a big improvement over the first Destiny.

I have just started the campaign and find the game to be an excellent sequel to the original. The story seems to be much more involved in campaign and the cinematic are not too long as to become boring. The controller are what you would expect from a Halo-based shooter, streamlined and precise. The maps are far more open that the previous release and the missions give you a purpose for exploring. They don't allow quick teleport to the adventure/quest but they allow fast travel back which is much appropriated. They have greatly increased the number of global events, which is a welcome addition based on the last game I can barely remember them. All in all, I think this is one they will have for quite some time as long as they can fill it with interesting and engaging end game content.
