Game is better than it's older sibling, but not by much more improvement. Graphics are tight and action is fast and smooth. Story is just OK.

Destiny 2 learns from the mistakes of its predecessor and builds nicely on the original. Graphics and gun play are both still excellent, and the variety of weapons you can use adds a lot of depth and strategy to your loadout. The story still feels disjointed, and I find that I don't really care about what happens to these characters, but that's just my opinion. It doesn't take away from the fun I have with the game. I can't speak as to the multiplayer, because I suck at it. But gamers I know seem to really like the Crucible.

I couldn't say no at the sale price I was able to pick this up at. A decent multiplayer diversion - going on raids with friends can certainly be very fun. I'm not personally a huge fan of MMO style games, but Destiny 2 definitely offers some amount of enjoyment in bursts. Lots of content but quality varies greatly depending on what's being done. I'd think of this game as more of a side dish rather than a title I'd ever primarily play.

Never played D1, heard ALL the horror stories about the lack of content and lies. Started hearing good things about this one and decided to give it a shot(pun intended). Story was great, while I was playing there was so much good loot and cool worlds to explore. Reaching the endgame and having no friends to play with made me hit a wall though, guided raids never really worked out. Worlds are all pretty much the same with re-skinned enemies. Still, I love the fun I had with it. Definitely recommend if you can get it for less than $30.
