The story is mediocre, but worth going through with the promise of end game and later adventures. The "end game" being the content to play repeatedly, grind, and continue to play for weeks/months after clearing the story/adventures. The problem is the end game isn't very good, and there is little to compel you to continue. I cleared the prestige raid one time for the accomplishment. The loot system is absolutely broken. I was an avid Destiny 1 player, but am not going to continue Destiny 2 after only 3 weeks after launch. It really is a shame, but I hope the game improves later.
