Destiny 2 has a lot more content and a better campaign then the original.

I liked the first destiny and this second one fills any gaps the first had and more. The weapons are fun and the action is intense.

Great game! Amazing online features. Playing the campaign with friends is a great experience. And the price is a bargain

If you like first person shooters then this game is for you. It has a lot of similarities to the Halo franchise. This of course is due to them being made by Bungie the same company. I wasn't sure how quick I would pick up the game play but it doesn't take long at all. The story is a little on the short side. If you have friends with this game then you can go online and play through the game together and many other options. I believe this is an amazing online first person shooter worth your purchase!

Surprised my boys with this purchase. Got a great deal at BestBuy. Boys are very happy and it is definitely being played.

campaign is shorter than the first, i think, but no less fun. graphics are better, story is solid. can't wait for the expansions!

A bit of a step up from D1, but the end game content is very limited and kinda makes you want to move on.

This game is as beautiful and fun as the first, but with major time saving improvements (aka the director). The campain/story is short as this game has always been focused around fireteam play. However with that said I believe Bungie missed the mark on that aspect. PVP Fireteam has max of 4, yet PVE Fireteam max is only 3! This means someone is getting bumped and that's just problematic and frankly makes no sense. A major oversight in my opinion.

I broke down and bought the new destiny2. I have now played it for a month. Like the first one , it is also enjoyable to play. 4 stars- I think I like the first more because I bought it complete after all the additional content was included. I am not a fan how any of the soft ware companies string you out to pay more for content. Overall it’s a good game

This sequel smooth off the rough edges of Destiny 1 by allowing the player more options to gain levels and gear. The addition of a in game map with quest markers, public events and location names makes exploration and grinding for gear easier. PvE strikes are fun and switch encounters each time that you play them. PvP Crucible is still enjoyable and challenging.

Changes to story of Destiney creates some new game plays but also continuation of same plays as before.

Shooting is fantastic and fun in this game but after reaching the level cap it gets really repetitive.

Destiny 2 is a solid FPS title with a solid, albeit short campaign. Its going on two years since the release however, and the game has undergone a number of changes. This game is fine to play as is, however this is only the base version of Destiny 2. To obtain the full experience, you're expected to purchase the expansions to the game however.

Destiny 2 did a lot of things right when it launched but still suffers from similar ailments to it's predecessor and has it's own issues. I already owned the base game and received an additional copy through a promotion that I'm lending friends to encourage them to play. It's still highly addictive to play even if the grind is ever so tedious.
