I was a long time player of Destiny 1. While it was a halfway decent game for its social playing it was overall, sub par. Destiny 2 fixes every issue I've ever had with the game. I no longer am required to spend hours of my time to make small incremental improvements in my gear/armor. Online is flawless and matchmaking is zippy. The story, my god the story is fantastic. Wonderful plot and it left me feeling completely satisfied. Overall, well done, Bungie. It's about time.

Fun to play through the campaign and some side activities. Once the campaign is completed there was little reason to keep playing

The story already has me hooked and I've only put in a few hours of gameplay. Major improvement over the first game.

Pretty good for a shooter game. I think I prefer the 3rd person perspective over 1st person.

Previous D1 player so all my character information transferred over. This makes you feel more connected to the game as you continue on into the new series. Storyline, music, cinematics, are all great, wish they made the single campaigns longer. As a new player it might be hard to get into, I suggest reading the backstory for the first one.

So, right off the bat, this is nowhere as good as the first game. However, it's much better than many Destiny 1 fans have claimed. Though keep in mind that I'm coming to the game later, so they've refined and updated things that released with the game that turned off many players of the first game. It's fun, and it's more Destiny.

Descent remake, fun but repetitive, family and friends enjoy the game, graphics look nice.

Bought this for my Grandson as part of the Destiny empire. Fast, smooth graphics with a good story board!

Nice story line and great game play with Destiny 2. Everything is tied together where the first game left off.

Great game for a multiplayer session and campaign!

If you are playing alone, it can be difficult to complete some of the features, but it is possible. It's fun and keeps you wanting to grind more and more to get. The best gear at the highest levels

I've been playing D2 for 4 days now (mine arrived early) and after almost 3 years of playing D1, I can say that D2 is a definite improvement. From not having to shuffle higher light level items to get better ones, to not having to have Exotic shards to infuse exotic items, to current and future public events that show up on your map, to the weapon load outs. Small changes, but they really dd to the enjoyment. D2 is simply a more refined and enjoyable game than D1.

The story is great, the multiplayer with friends has been improved. It's an overall boost from the first Destiny

If you liked the first one, you'll enjoy this one. Sci-Fi action with solid shooting mechanics and tons of co-operative modes.

I started playing this game with my boyfriend and for a beginner like me it’s pretty cool. Still learning about the world, but it’s not to terrible to master. If it is for you, just keep going!!

I am having a lot of fun with this one, the story is pretty good and the grind isn't horrible this time around.

The game is good I guess but can get repetitive too

The setup of this game is almost flawless. How you travel from planet to planet to perform missions, adventures, etc is consistent enough to make it easy to navigate (with help from map) yet different enough where a new world is always fresh. Also, for other types of gameplay outsides the campaign (Multipalyer, strikes,etc) you just travel to a different planet. This game feels like Halo 2 and it refreshing. That said, I never played DS1 so I could be biased.
