I loved the first Destiny, and this is more of that with some quality of life improvements.

Mechanically brilliant but pretty soulless and shocking unimaginative. Destiny 1.5? More like, the original Destiny was 0.5 and this is about 1.1. I played the heck out of D1 and whilst the quality of life is much better here, planets are more beautiful and slightly better designed, it's still just a corridor/occasional open-space shooter. There's no lore to speak of, it's all just a grind, the strikes are virtually indistinguishable from one another and PvP is just completely pointless as it stands with a dearth of modes and boring maps.

I love this game. They are currently working out all the bugs. I just recently tried to start 3 missions and it crashed 3 times.... other than that I have been so pleased with how it plays.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He has been wanting it and it has a great review.

I was more familiar with games like Warframe and this game was as close I could get with simulating that experience. Recommended for those who like Warframe-like games.

Having never played any of the Destiny series I had no expectations going into this game. After easily spending hundreds of hours in-game, I feel like this game is good but not great.

I thought my kids were obsessed with callnof duty but this has put those others to shame.

If you look at this as a campaign kind of like a Halo 5.5 with leveling up and loot it's good. If you look at it as an mmo it isn't. It comes down to what you're looking to get out of it.

Destiny 2 brings you a better story line and enhanced character abilities with the exception of the Warlock. If you enjoyed reviving and slinging multiple sun bombs, do not get too excited. Even as a fan of the Warlock, the gaming experience is far better than Destiny 1.

It feels a lot like a continuation of the first Destiny game with more improved features and new ones as well. Overall, it's a fun game to play with friends. Soloing is sometimes boring and even hard since this game is based off of using your friend's help but good game.

Destiny 2 is in many ways, better than the original Destiny 1 base game. I say base game because I never bought any of the expansions, so it is the only thing I can compare it to. Pros- Easy to gear - no longer feels like you get 4 pieces of loot every hour Better gear - no more extremely low power level drops Plenty to do - quests, missions, patrols, public and heroic events, lost sectors The story is actually in the game this time; no more bungie.net for grimoire cards Speaking story, the story is actually good and actually makes sense Cons - Main story line is a little short Gain your light back way too quickly Is considered by some as "too easy" Personal gripe: Guided Games. Last time I checked, you can only do as many guided games as the number of tickets you have to do so. So if you only play solo, you can use a ticket and hope that the clan you are matched with doesn't give up and waste your ticket

Awesome game. I never played the first one but this one so far exceeds my expectations.

Destiny has always been a shaky series. It has great shooter FPS mechanics, incredible potential for scifi fantasy lore, and great co-op and pvp. However, it is still a shell of a game when looking at the base game. It has a fun campaign on par with Titanfall 2's short but decent campaign. If you're looking for more of the same content over and over again, Destiny may be for you, but the eternal grind gets dull quickly.

Bought as a Christmas gift for my son. He's played it at his friends house & enjoys it.

It's Destiny 1 again. Same graphics, same gameplay, same initial lack of content due to planned DLC. If you liked the first and have friends that play this then ok but if not it's eh.

This is now the fourth copy of this game I have bought. Kids love it relatives love it.

Purchased as Christmas present for son. It was on his wish list so know he’ll love it.

Definitely a must have for FPS fans and me and my friends prefer this over Overwatch. Plenty of content and items and the inclusion of a single player story mode is great.

I am enjoying my PS4 with this new game. Animation & Sound effects are really cool..!!
