Great Game!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would highly recommend Destiny 2 to any gamer because it has a magnificent storyline that allows you to delve deep into the characters and conflict, and also provides great graphics. Destiny 2 overall is a great game for a very nice price. The storyline of Destiny 2 correlates to the story of the first Destiny. Although the enemy races have not changed, the enemies that you come into contact with have a back-story, and are very fun to go against. The story starts off with allowing you to know the feel of the game, and choose your character and what you want to represent. As the game progresses, the enemies get harder, and loot is easier to access. The storyline has a main line, and then you have the side quests and patrol missions, which help you get certain loot. Take for example the Rat King pistol that you have to receive by doing quests. In order to get the Rat King, you have to do strikes, which take quite a bit of time to do and complete. Once done, you have an exotic weapon that affects the damage you do to enemies. In my opinion I love going to different planets and moons in Destiny 2, and seeing how they depict how each planet and moon looks. Another very interesting thing about Destiny 2 is that they come up with storylines all the time, and make them as Downloadable Contents (DLC) for people to play with. DLC’s come out very often, and are jam packed with a bunch of amazing guns, planets, and outfits. One thing that I am concerned about, however, is the way the exotic quests, and quest in general come about. I applaud Destiny 2 for trying to make the game as diverse as possible by giving different people different quests, but it is hard to acquire a quest that you would like. I also feel that when you acquire a quest, it is difficult to find people to do it with. Take again, for example, the Rat King. You have to complete the Nightfall Strike in under I believe 6 minutes. The thing is, however, you have to have other people with the same Rat King quest. If you are a solo gamer and have no intentions to play with others, it will be quite hard for you to do certain quest and also get certain loot. Raids require at most 6 people, and are quite tough if you have anything under 5 people. The catch is, raids give you extraordinary gear and loot. So, if you end up not being able to do Raids or Strikes, you fall back on powerful gear and loot. Overall, the storyline and everything associated with it is exceptionally well for a good price. The graphics of Destiny 2 are amazing. Compared to the first Destiny, Destiny 2 has amazing graphics. When on PC, you can also change the graphics from low to ultra, and depending on your computer, there are more options for that. I feel the best graphics is either on the PC or PS4. The PS4 has amazing graphics for Destiny 2, it is very clear and you can change the options, as well. The price of Destiny 2 does not end at $60, however. You have in-game micro transactions like DLCs and buying a currency called Silver. Some people argue that DLCs and buying Silver are a waste of time, but Destiny 2 does not force you to buy those things. The DLCs are if you would like to continue with the story, or a completely different story from the original story. If you would not like to purchase the DLCs, you can still do Raids, Strikes, and multiplayer. The micro transaction, Silver, is also very much not needed. If you want a cool looking ship, new dances, shaders, guns, or armor, then you can go to get Silver to get that stuff. They do not force you to buy anything else, so I personally think Destiny 2 is perfect for the price they have presented. Destiny 2 is definitely a game to get if you want to play with your friends or even random people! I recommend getting the DLCs associated with Destiny 2 as well to make it an even better experience.

Good Game That Could Have Been Great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't get me wrong! This is a good game and definitely worth playing. The only part of the game (and this cost the game an extra star) is the platforming sections. Jumping, missing and dying should not be part of this game. This is not Mirror's Edge! It is Destiny! Like I said, definitely worth playing. I just wish they would have let the platforming sections out.
