So, maybe for $60 this game is perhaps deserving of some criticism, but get it on sale for $5.99 with My Best Buy Offer ($4.79 with additional Gamers Club discount), and there's really very little to complain about. I loved the first game, although I didn't play through a whole lot of it. Same with this game so take this review for what it's worth. I think the game looks amazing, especially on a nice TV, and I really like the game mechanics. If you can pick this up for under $5, it's a no-brainer.

I played a lot of D1 and will be playing alot of Destiny 2 also. It's a great game whether you prefer to play alone or in a group. There's so much to do!

Not much change from the first Destiny. Repetitive hack and slash to grind through the levels. Best played with friends.

The game is really good, but it is short. Be prepared to finish this game in a few hours, but the online will keep you on forever. Just the single player campaing is short.

Purchased just to have something different to play for a bit. Cant bet it for the price. Its a great shooter. Story mode is good too.

The hype for Destiny 2 did not disappoint. Was really excited to finally play this game, story and graphics are great. Real glad I made this purchase.

Best buy had a deal for members and I bought this game for just 5 bucks. The price was great and Destiny 2 is just as good as the first one.

As a gamer who has sunk an inhuman amount of hours into the first Destiny, (I think one stat I read said that I spent 40 hours on just one of the strikes ALONE) I was worried that Bungie wouldn't change too much and this would be more of a "Destiny 1.5" than a true sequel. I'm happy to report that I was wrong! From the jump, the story has been 100 times more interesting, there are TONS more activities and adventures to do, and it's paired with one of the tightest FPS systems in modern gaming. Can't wait to sink another couple weeks of in-game time into D2!!

Very Original story, has elements of the old game but most importantly the game does not seem to send you on repeating missions. Highly Recommended.

Better then the first game. There's always something to do in this game. Definitely worth it if you're part of the gamers club.

Huge Improvement over the original Destiny. However, you should still expect the mmo type grind in the end. Much better story, and it looks great.

My fiance is a pretty avid gamer and loves getting his hands on the newest games as they come out. He was extremely happy with this as a gift and Best Buy made it super easy to purchase online and pick up in store. Great experience overall!

Game picks up where the 1st left off at ....graphics, science fi,mystery, and action at it's best on both consoles

Just started the beta, but impressive already. Mechanics seem refined. Action is impressive (as always). Starts with more interesting storyline.

Got this game on sale for $10. Great value for the price. Fun to play with others. Campaign is easier to understand than the first one.

As a fan of the looter shooter genre and a casual fan of the Destiny franchise, the game scratches that itch until Borderlands 3 is eventually released. As this is the vanilla Destiny 2 experience you will experience at a certain point a want for content and QoL improvements. A lot of my issues got fixed in Forsaken. It's not a bad game, but might have you wanting more.

The story and gameplay are improved from the first game. I think if you enjoyed the first destiny at all Destiny 2 is worth a buy.

Destiny 2 has me hooked so far; a lot better story than the first while retaining the gunplay/multiplayer of the first.

It’s good game. Plays just like halo and call of duty combined. But it’s kind of open world. Not my Taste I like start game and play immediately type of games

I paid $20 and not mad that a little time later it was free. Great graphics and great shooting machincs with a better story.
