I bought this for my husband for sweetest day. He was able to play the beta when it was out and really enjoyed it. He had been saying he wanted it and it was a good opportunity to get it for him. He and his brother both love playing it once the kids are in bed.

Definitely a great upgarde from Gen 1. more of a continuation of a great and vast conspiracy! I have enjoyed many hours exploring the multitude of locations. amazing scenery, great controls, smooth and sexy! Love it! get a copy NOW!

Really enjoying the game so far. Campaign has been a lot of fun, environments are awesome, acting is pretty good, music/audio are well done. There's been a lot of changes made since the first but the one thing I miss (and I think I'm in the minority) is that low level engrams are immediately decoded as soon as you pick them up and items no longer have random perks/rolls. I kinda miss the grind of finding that perfect weapon with all the perks you want. For me I think it will lesson the longevity of the game, but time will tell.

This game has much better story components than the original. There is plenty of game to keep you busy for a while. Like any game that "never ends", it does get slightly repetitive as you grind for better gear after level 20. But it hasn't ceased to be fun.

I was stuck on the first Destiny and all it's expansions. The sequel builds and improves on the first game. If you've never played it before, its easy to get into, and much easier now to play without a group of friends, although thats the best way to play.

Very good sequel to Destiny! The story is fun and the multi-player is well done and have experienced no bugs. Really hope to see this game as a major esports game. If you like rpg's and first person shooters, this game has very good balance between them. If you were to ask what a game would look like if halo and cod were merged, it would be this, and it's awesome. To add to the amazement of this game, it is also an mmo where at any point you can play the story with anybody online. You can stop your current quest, help out a stranger fight their battle, and continue on yours.

If you don’t have a dedicated group of friends, you can not progress that easily. This game is way better with friends. Otherwise you will end up posting looking for group ads if you want to progress. The game is solid overall

Controls like Destiny 1, but a bit more overwhelming of enemies and a lot more to do than destiny 1. Overall what you expect from the Destiny Series. Good game, new powers, weapons, more drops, quicker leveling up system. Like the old destiny, you really have to pound your way through the game for a few hours before you can level up to handle some enemies without worrying about being defeated and respawning a bunch, once leveled up decently and your a decent shot or know some tactics, you can hold your own without worrying too much about respawning over and over. Always a good co-op game. Lots to do, now has "fast travel" in the game so not as much time spent out in orbit like the previous one and you can get to playing more than messing around moving around and loading.

I enjoyed the main campaign well enough, but dang if I don't have time to grind and shoot all darn day. It's more fun with friends, so don't play unless you have a Fire Team!

Bought this for my grandson, yes I know the rating. He says "IT'S GREAT. I say it moves too fast and I'm lucky to get one shot off before I'm out. Xbox 1 online game plays with kids from just about everywhere on the planet. Love to see him so happy.

It's definitely Destiny. But I see it as a good thing. They took where D1 ended up and built upon it further. It's nothing new, nothing groundbreaking, but it's what I wanted. A better version of Destiny with new content.

My thoughts on Destiny 2: If you liked the first, you will like the second. I have a few friends who were trying to geting Destiny with the 2nd one and they just couldnt get into it. There is more story so that is good.

If you liked Destiny 1 then you'll probably like it, but if you didn't like one two is more of the same with more eye candy and lots of things have changed or streamlined. I like it and play alot with xbox live friends.

This is a really fun game. I never really got in to the Halo games but this while similar in some respects has kept my interest. To get the most out of the game it’s best to play with at least one friend - two or three would make it even better.

I picked this up for the Xbox one X and it looks amazing on my 4K tv. The gameplay is good and the multiplayer isn't too bad. Although 4v4 isn't ideal if you want loads of action but it's good enough. Overall not too bad for $39.99 on sale.

Initial play through of the game is fun, but the end game content gets a little to repetitive for me. I understand that this is the type of game that it is, and assumed this would happen when I purchased. I got bored of it rather quickly.

Essentially it is an improved version of Destiny. I do enjoy the different classes and the gunplay is some of the best around. I wish I could just do matches (PvE or PvP) without leveling or grinding for gear.

It's fun for the first 5-10 hours. But after you reach max level and max power, there's really not much else to do. You can run the same instances and the same raids, but until the expansion, it's pretty dead.

Great continuation from the first game. Updates for the most part cover everything lacking in Destiny 1, but it also took away some things that were good in the first game. Now just waiting for more content.

A good sequel to Destiny! Good story and engaging characters. The new shader system is different but the ability to customize the color of each piece of armor and your weapons is awesome. Worth of loss of keeping your shader forever.
