I loved the original destiny. Never a dull moment. The new game continues on with the Destiny legacy. I have a few hours in so far and absolutely loving it. I highly recommend the destiny line of games. Always a challenge available.

This is an addictive game. If you like adventure, PVP and loot; check, check and check. Great clan involvement so even for new people, you have a better chance of experiencing end-game content. Can't say enough. Just pick it up.

While Destiny 1 was criticized for its poor storytelling and lack of content at launch, Destiny 2's campaign is the most fun I've had playing a video game in a long time. Also got it at a great price.

Big improvement as a sequel, added new things that were requested in D1 and a lot more added as a whole, overall it's a great sequel and a must have for fans of D1 and fans of shooters/MMO styled games

The ads said that Destiny 2 was putting more effort into the stories and single player. I would definitely agree with that. The music sounds like Halo which is a positive and the side quests build a nice world around the game.

I am a day 1 Destiny lifer, so it's difficult for me to write this review - my thoughts are mixed. The story is a HUGE improvement, and then gun play remains the best on the market, but the replayability has suffered greatly due to Bungie gutting the incentive system to make the game appeal more to the casual player. That said, Bungie has responded to the criticism and has a plan on place, so I do have faith that they will right this ship in the coming months

More in-depth with more to do than the first game. There are some beta activities that let you experience end game content, but still requires overall knowing a few people to truly enjoy the game.

I got this for my son, and now I haven't seen him in days. I can still hear him upstairs, and I know he is still in the house as his bed looks slept in and food keeps disappearing. Apparently he really likes the game...

My kids enjoy the new game. It was a better price here then anywhere considering that we are part of the gamers club and get 20 % off games for a whole 2 years. That is really worth it if your kids play a lot of games.

So far Destiny 2 has been as fun as Destiny 1 Year 1 was for me. There is more depth to the story than the previous Destiny, and it feels like there is a lot less grinding than D1 required. I'm happy with my purchase.

So hopped on the hype train and pre-ordered D2 because it looked like Bungie actually learned from 3 years of D1 disaster. They we're adding in vehicles, the vanguard would show up in missions, new enemies, and there would finally be a story. Didn't quite pan out the way i thought. There is a tank which is fun, but it only shows up in 2 missions, and the only other vehicle besides your sparrow is a few pikes here and there...and I guess there was that one interceptor in that one mission. But at least the Zavala, Cayde ,and Ikora show up in missions right? Ya the first one and then couple more but only for dialogue. Put away your dreams of fighting along side the vanguard Guardian, it won't happen here. There's one new enemy, yep the dogs. And other than the Cabal and Fallen which they put time into, they other enemies are the same as they ever were...and still just stand there waiting to be shot. There is a story and for the most part it's decent. The main antagonist is actually pretty interesting, albeit short lived. PVP is terrible. Ask anyone, they sucked out what fun there was for balance...which it isn't. Iron Banner was boring and didn't drop IB items most of the time. And to do the challenge you had to complete 50-60 matches to get...wait for it...an emblem. Strikes for the most part are pretty good. The raid didn't ship until a week after launch and doesn't give you anything special. So bottom line, after about a 1-1/2 months of casual play, I'm at max power level and have no reason to play. And everyone else in the clan has gone back to Overwatch, Borderlands 2, Halo 5...basically anything that's fun. So if you want this game, buy it on sale, and push Bungie to make better games.

I originally purchased this game because my friends have it and wanted me to be able to play it with them. The game is so much better than I thought it was! The graphics are amazing and the game has got me addicted.

Fun, but seemed like more of the same grinding for cool stuff. Only took two days to beat. Probably worth a play through after the price drops.

Overall it’s incredibly fun with hours of content. The soundtrack is incredible. However, there are some huge balance updates that need to be made to perfect the game. Worth it overall.

Destiny 2 has certainly lived up to the hype! I was an avid player of the first game and I have to say, so far this is mikes above the original Destiny game. Great story line and the graphics are incredible! There’s so much more you can customize now. Even if you’re a first time player to this game it’s so intuitive. Thought it was great that it imported my original game characters from Destiny into it! I got kind of use to those guys!! Can’t wait to see how they will expand on this game!

Great game overall but requires a lot of grinding and after you finish the activities that came out with the game, there isn't a whole lot to strive for, maybe future dlc with fix that

I bought this game knowing that I would plug a lot of hours in, and after about 100, I look back and think it is all worth it. It helped bring some friendships closer together, and I'm happy with the purchase.

Preordered Destiny 2 through the mobile app. It was ready in the store for pickup on time. It’s so convenient with my work schedule. Story is so much better than the previous Destiny.

If you missed Destiny 1, it's OK. Pick up Destiny 2. The gun pl...the shooty shooty bang bang feels so good. It's a grinder shooter but the story and cinematic cut scenes make it all quite addicting. There are a bunch of expansions out so it's also worth considering the the special deals that may include the expansions along with this base game if you want more ban for your buck. If you just want to sample the base game, then this is what you should choose.

Destiny 2 might not be the best game out there, but it is decent enough to warrant a purchase, especially when it is constantly on sale for $10 or less. The base game may be plenty for some including me who may just play casually for the main story campaign or even the competitive multiplayer. Although it doesn't include any DLC, the expansions also tend to go on sale many times throughout the year if you are looking at getting the complete experience.
