Hey, I get why people loathed the first Destiny. It was misdirected and had a hard to track/uninteresting/non-existent story line. But I have had a blast with this one. I look forward to blasting baddies with friends. Though the grind might get a little stale, the loot keeps me going!

After the games honeymoon period it is just a lack luster game

Destiny 2 while fun with its various aspects, gets 90% of its content locked behind a paywall only to have it become free after many already paid for it, then adding new paywalls on recycled content.

The game is fun but very repetitive. You also will have to shell out more money for DLC and Expansions.. better off buying the Forsaken Edition for a few bucks more if you really want to play this franchise.

The game its self isnt bad however it get repetitive quickly and as most players realize you have to buy most of the DLC in order for the game to be moderately enjoyable. Graphics and game play are solid.

Its more destiny, Though it takes a lot of steps backwards from where you left off on destiny 1. Its a mixed bag of good and bad. Gameplay is still destiny but the end game content is pay-walled behind DLC.

This game has made improvements since it first came out. It is still a bit of a grind and repetitive though. It is fun if you have people to play with though and for the price I bought it, you can't go wrong.

Destiny 2 feels like an unfinished game. The story is laughable, there is no meaningful endgame content, and the PvP arena stinks. If you’re looking for a solid FPS go elsewhere. As a long time Bungie fan I’m really disappointed the quality of their work has sunk so low.

Destiny 2 is one of the must have games of the year. It's a great way to spend time blasting enemies with your friends. One improvement is that it needs a built in looking for group function to explore end game content. The way it's set up now locks a lot of people out of the final portion of the game.

This game is real similar to the first Destiny. The story is fairly short but there is a lot of side missions that will take a little bit of time to complete. Takes about an hour or so before you can play any type of cooperative or competitive, so don't expect to jump right in to playing with friends.

I bought this when it was $10 and I am a part of gamer club to it was even cheaper. For that price, this game is worth it. Otherwise, it is a grindy "game" or more like "live service" that has a very mediocre story but can be fun at times. You can beat the story in about 6 hours or so because it's clear that the story wasn't the priority here, the live service is. The game wants you to grind things over and over again, get loot, and do stuff with people online. Also, it really wants you to buy the expansions and silver currency but at this state of the game, you don't have to. Get what fun you can from the game because there is some fun here and once it feels like it's just a grindfest, move on to something else.

I got the 2nd game of the series because I was a fan of the first game but it’s the exact same thing and isn’t challenging. I like for a game to get challenging but this one wasn’t difficult at all.

This item was included as a freebie with another purchase. I don't know what the base destiny 2 physical retails for but if you can find it, it's a good value if you're hesitant to go for the forsaken edition or any other digital versions that Microsoft is trying to upsell on xbox
