At first, I appreciated the so-called "quality of life" improvements Destiny 2 made over the original game. However, the simplifications that made the early game smooth, really hurt the end-game content for dedicated players. For example, if every instance of a particular gun has the exact same roll, there's no reason to "grind" for the "god-roll". It's a Catch-22, for a game like Destiny. Even taking this approach though, Bungie went too far. Why don't the raid armor and weapons have raid-specific perks that other armor and guns don't have? Why don't Iron Banner armor and weapons have IB-specific perks? It makes those end-game activities much less essential to the game. Overall, the game is good, but I don't think it has the staying power that the first Destiny game had.

My boyfriend plays this constantly. If he's not at work, he's playing this game!

Great game. I didn’t play destiny 1 so this experience is brand new to me. I’m very impressed at how well the game keeps my attention! Other than the long loading times between planets, the game is very fun and exciting to play.

Was in store looking for something when I can across this game. I thought I would give it a try because I have the first one. To my surprise this game was a great find. Love playing it when I have free time. It is just as good as the first one.

Destiny 2 is a okay game but it doesn't compare to Destiny one.

This game is so addictive. Every night I can’t wait for the kids to go to bed.

The graphical detail and lighting improvements are impressive. Great changes to gameplay that decrease waiting time, specifically the "time in orbit" that was spent between actual gameplay. Lots of new abilities and weapons to use and new maps to explore.

Amazing deal for a 50 dollar game, I probably would not have been able to afford it had it not been 6 dollars. Absolutely stunning discount. Also, gameplay is tremendous and very fascinating, though I haven’t even beaten the first game yet! xD

Seems more like an add on to destiny 1, does not seem complete.

The story is better this time around and makes sense. It is a little short but Destiny is all about the end game. If you liked part 1 then you know what to expect. If you hated part 1 they have improved part 2 so give it a try.

I like this gane so far, havent had much time to play much yet

They seem to have learned from their mistakes on this one...They made an actual story you didnt have to leave the game to read, and its not a grind fest to level, get good gear and crucible seems fairly balanced. Overall, Im glad I picked this up.

first time buying this series. My son likes it. Not too hard.

The game is great and fun but if you didn't like the first game then you won't like this one as its more of the first game but with better improvements. If you played destiny 1 one and liked it then you should like Destiny 2.

A lot of people complain that this game isn't worth it. Most likely they bought this game at the full MSRP early on when the game was released. Now that the game is on sale, and heavily discounted, it's totally worth it, even for solo play.
