Good, but possibly over-hyped

A larger, more extensively developed set of environments and NPC hostiles would certainly benefit Destiny. I disagree with Bungie's decision not to support cross-platform play or split-screen co-op, but I did not take that into consideration for this review.

I was hoping for a more challenging, more immersive experience with the online community and a fun multiplayer platform, but so far, I'm not getting what I had hoped for. It looks great though.

It isn't the greatest FPS ever but it retains replay value with strikes, missions, and multiplayer after level cap. The story is simplistic but it does leave room for more content (surprise surprise). I am sure they will squeeze more in until people stop buying the new content.

Overall a solid performance

Only real complaint so far is that the multiplayer PvP needs a little tweaking. Vehicles are way to over powered and it feels like there needs to be an overall damage downgrade in the weapons so people can survive through more damage then what they currently can.
