I will start this review off by saying that I generally do not play many FPS games. There have been a couple that I enjoyed in the last gen of console games, namely Resistance and Borderlands. The trailers and build up to this game made me overlook the genre and give it a try. I do not feel that it lived up to the hype that was built around it personally. It was alright but I just didn't have a whole lot of fun playing it. I don't believe I got my character past level 4. I felt that the missions were too cookie cutter and there wasn't anything in the story that made me feel connected to my character. There wasn't enough customization to make the experience unique. It was definitely not what I was expecting it to be.
