If you can be fulfilled by hours upon hours of great gunplay and mmo progression then you'll be satisfied. Just don't expect tons of variety in mission or world design. Your doing the same things or 30 hours. However, it is an addictive experience, even if it's a bit shallow. I would recommend this to people who love cooperative play and great mechanics, but the level, mission design, and story are pretty lackluster all around. This is the vanilla version by the way.

The game has exceptional graphics and a very immersive game play, I believe the only downfall is that it requires online game play just to play the game.

This game does a lot right. it's a first person shooter in a world populated with other players (mmo) and had progression development that uses an rpg system. i bought this game for the single player portion but found the story was not as good as i hoped. not bad just not amazing either. multilayer comes in coop and versus and both have proven very fun. fun to play even after the credits roll.

This is a great game that looks so wonderful on the next generation console! I was skeptical at first if I would like this, but after trying it out, I am hooked! I play it quite often!

I have hundreds of hours in this game. I owned it on PS3 before getting it for PS4. I enjoy it. You may not. The gameplay and grinding is addicting after a while though, so be careful :)

I really HATE Destiny's DLC practices. I hate it even more, because I've bought and enjoyed them. This game is addicting. The lotto style of unlocking gear..must be a gambler's dream.

If you have friends that play this game it can be really fun but if not it is crazy repetitive and gets old

If you're a gamer, you need to experience Destiny. While the graphics and engine are impeccable, don't expect the same from the story and approach. It's basically a very well-executed snoozer of a story, but that doesn't mean it's not fun! It's enjoyable, but it's basically the Avatar of modern gaming: a visual and experiential marvel, but completely lacking of substance or gravitas.

This is my favorite game right now, loads of fun. Disappointed that you have to be a playstation plus member to do the online gaming however. Not a requirement for the PS3 version

What I've played so far has been really fun and leveling up is very addicting. I rarely play RPG/MMO games but I love that this FPS have those features integrated. I know that I have a long road ahead (currently a level 8 character) but I just hope that the pacing and upgrades keep me engaged throughout. The story might be a little weak but gameplay is fun and makes up it so far.

This game is fun and entertaining but the story is short. The action is excellent, great visuals, controls, and mechanics. During the missions for whatever reason you spawn in the same place on every mission, even though you are going to a different part of the world your on. So that's kinda weird although I suspect they did that so you would bust out the sparrow and jet around.

This is a great game for people who enjoyed playing Halo or any other first person shooter games. It also has a touch of MMO gameplay with the added benefit of not having a monthly fee to play like other MMO games. The game seems to have endless things to do. Easy controls and easy to pick up and play. The only negative is that some portions of the game become a little repetitive. Overall, a great game that I would recommend to anyone.

Destiny definitely has a refined feel to it. The gun-play is reminiscent of Halo, and the melee attacks are the most satisfying I have ever experienced in a first person shooter. The class variety seems minimal, and the character creation leaves you with a few options for variety. The story is incredibly vague and disjointed. Hopefully it becomes more developed in the future. If you can get past these issues, the game proves to be a fun first person shooter.

I got this for my son for the PS4 in addition to his copy for the Xbox360 because he really enjoys the gameplay, both online and off. Great game.

Fun game, great graphics, unfortunately a little repetitive. You wind up playing the same maps over and over again which is a little disappointing.

I don't get why many people don't like it. I understand that some aspects of MMO play were lacking, but it's still a great game! I loved playing, and replay abiltiy is fantastic!

I've been having a great time playing this game and even bought the expansion pass. This has been a lot of fun to play online with my friends in a nice small 3 person fireteam.

Game has very good graphics. Guns in game are very cool looking and sound when firing them. very addictive after you start playing. Good Luck PS4 4TW. only system to play on ;)

Excellent upgrade from previous version. The expanded play and new easier to use controls at least it seemed they were are a great addition to one of my favorite games.
