I had been waiting for this game for about 2 years. After playing 2 betas throughout the summer, I knew what to expect. It was awesome and I could barely wait for September. I was told the beta was about 1/4 of the entire game. This was disappointing news. There's only a handful of planets and each one only has about 5 or 6 missions. Plus you're constantly online so you rarely get 20 seconds into a mission without coming across a random player who doesn't even help with the objective. I wish there were more collectibles as well. There seems to be an endless amount of weapons and armor. The online PVP feels just like Halo on steroids, which is a good thing. Overall, the game looks terrific and plays really well. Haven't had a single issue with the servers yet. Destiny has a lot of replay value. 3 classes to choose from and each has its own powers and upgrades. The one thing that has me giving Destiny only 4 stars---although the replay value is high, there's a lack of variety with enemies and there's not as much to explore as we thought.

Don't think it lived up to it's huge hype. However, gameplay is good and stays relatively entertaining. I do like the customisation abilities, it's a nice aspect to the game. I never usually enjoy games of this genre, however this has done well to keep me playing. Would recommend picking up this title!

Pros: Mechanics are solid Shooting is great Visually stunning Cons Story is weak End game boils down to farming for better gear, then farming for material to upgrade that gear, then farming for rarer materials to upgrade that gear farther. Balancing issues on multiplayer. I have an exotic weapon that after being upgraded fully would reload instantly, have almost no recoil and fire incredibly fast. Doesn't seem very balanced to me. Watch youtube videos of people pvping with end game raid weapons, seems pretty broken right now. Overall I think this game can become great but so much needs to be patched before hand. It reminds me a lot of diablo 3 when it first came out. I would rate this a 3.5 out of 5 right now and say wait 6-12 months to play it after they fix a lot of issues. If you're really into shooters I'd give it a 4.

Great graphics, great gameplay. The story is hard to understand but the different missions and varied enemies more than make up for the story. The multiplayer is great. A lot is packed in it and it will take a lot of your time. If you want something different then Call of Duty with a mixture of Halo and Borderlands then this is the game from you.

Incredible game! Everything I wanted and more! A lot of people say it's a lot like Halo but I think it's so much better!! Must Buy!

The game has a little learning curve, but it's like any other FPS after that. The controls are amazing. The graphics are brilliant.

Best game I've played in a long time. Controls are tight, graphics amazing, missions fun and the cherry on top? Co-op play! Other elements like character leveling and upgrades are well paced and feel rewarding. The biggest concern is they could improve the enemy AI as it can be a bit wonky at times. The loading screens can be a tad long as well.

This game is fun. My only problem is it can get a little repetitive over time. But smooth game play.

This game is great all around. The story is interesting and fresh. The graphics are phenomenal, and the atmosphere and cinematography are nothing short of beautiful. Instead of sitting through loading screens, you watch as your dropship jets off into space or toward the surface of the planet (this is also in multiplayer except there is a fleet of spacecrafts flying together). Having missions on different planets is very cool. There are definitely some Halo undertones here, and I think they also got some inspiration from Star Wars as well. It does have a flavor of its own though. The multiplayer is similar to Halo but is much more rewarding because it contributes to your campaign. As you level up, new things become available such as bounties, weapons, game modes, and all sorts of things I have yet to reach. Overall, the game manages to keep you interested. I imagine I will be playing this for quite a while, and I would definitely recommend it. Among the hail of gunfire, Peter Dinklage's voice is also a warm and welcome companion. (There's also a soccer ball at the tower you can kick around, and my friend and I instigated a dance party there last night. Not even kidding a little.) Lots of fun to be had!

Just what you would expect from the game. Excellent gameplay and graphics. Works smoothly and seamlessly. Great for every age.

Fun 1st person shooter game. Reminds me of Sony version of Halo. Really fun with a group of people.

It is not Halo but it is pretty good game. It is fun game to play but need online playstation gamming to get better equipment.

Not a fan of online death match kinda games but this one is a winner. Great graphics. Great deals too.

Easy to pick up and play, great mechanics and storyline is solid. There isn't much wasted space and the environments are awesome.

At first things may seem simple, but single player really grows as your character levels up. There is also lots of fun to be had in the Crucible. Some of the reviews state they have problems, yet most Gamers seem to be having to much fun playing the game to even be commenting. Overall I'd highly recommend this game because it's simply fun.

Taken king expansion improves a lot of issues with game but still has some areas for an overhaul.

The graphics are great and there are a lot of options for online play with friends and other people. However, the missions do get quite repetitive. Go here, hold square, defend the position from multiple enemies. I'm not finished with the game but that seems to be half of the missions so far.
