There is a good amount of grinding, but when you play with friends it is a blast!

Fun game that hits on the interesting aspects of a traditional MMO (like World of Warcraft) without being TOO intense. Lots of opportunity to play with friends (solo play is not as great), story is a snooze fest, and additional content is a bit slow to be released.

Great game I usually don't play games like this. But, well made really enjoyed it.

Destiny is a lot of fun to play, especially with friends. The story isn't everything it was hyped up to be but the game play is fun, nice graphics, smooth controls especially with the shooting and a lot of incentive to keep playing in terms of earning new loot. The Crucible PvP modes are pretty fun too.

I love this game! its like Halo, COD and WoW all rolled into one. worth the buy and the DLC is great too.

There's a lot to dislike about Destiny. The game wants - nay, encourages - playing the same content over and over again in order to please the random number gods into getting good gear. The game has a nonsensical story. The game lets you play harder versions of early missions, mainly be making the end bosses have much more health instead of changing up the enemy types or spawns in any way. The game really shines in the 6-person raid, which is content that is locked away until you've sunk a dozen hours or more in the game getting the gear necessary to be allowed in. All that said, the game is fun. It's a solid shooter that feels as good as Halo which has hooks that encourage coming back day after day. It feels good to get great gear, even if it is entirely random. In the end, the grind isn't a bad thing when what you're doing while grinding is still playing a fun shooter with friends.

The gameplay is great, the mix and range of weapons seems to be good, not too many but more than a few. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is because of the repetitive nature of the end game material; this may turn some people off but I'm okay with it.

Haven't had the most time to indulge into this great game too much, but what I have experienced is quite impressive. Story line is great and multiplayer is also fun however can be challenging for lower level players. Be sure to pick up a strategy guide as well the collectors edition is quite awesome!

Not much of a story to go with the game but, extreamly fun to play.

This game is not for everyone. It is quite a grind to get the best items and level them up. If you like grinding then it is quite fun. The story is short and you will be replaying missions multiple times but for me the chance at some good items are worth it.

Very fun game! Worth the 50-60 dollars you will spend on it! The missions get kind of boring when playing alone because its the same thing over and over again but online play is a blast and playing the missions with friends is fun! If you have a ps4 you have to get the game for the online play alone!

Destiny will be a great game one day. May 2015, maybe 2016. If you're reading this and the game has been out for a while, buy it! Today, however, the game feels incomplete. There isn't much end-game content, and what IS there get repetitive fast. If you're a solo gamer, or don't intend on getting Playstation + or Xbox Live, pass on this game. You can solo up to level 20, maybe even the low/mid 20s, but not beyond. The story is virtually non-existent. What you get to play through is pieced together and incoherent. All in all, not the best, not the worst. PS+ or XBL is a must, and its not quite as good as other FPS games, or MMOs, I've played. However, I have no doubt this will be a great game... eventually
