Been playing this on Xbox One since release. It's one of the few games that has held my attention for longer than 2 months, and long after I beat all the content. If you like Halo or want to try a great shooter, give this a chance. There's tons to be said about this game that I can't begin to eloquently repeat, go just buy it if you're interested.

I just started playing this FPS game last night and it is very good but I wouldnt go as far as saying its excellent. I dont know what it is, but its missing something. Maybe I havent played enough of the game yet to get a full appreciation for the game, if my thoughts change, I will update this review.

I love this game. It is really fun and I highly recommend it.

Here's the deal, the world, the lore, all top notch, the gunplay and mechanics are top tier as well, but the single player campaign leaves a little to be desired. Where as you constantly return to the same battlefields. So it could get a tad boring, but the battles themselves are full of action. The only other thing that may turn people off, is the crucible, which is the multiplayer component to the game, feels a bit Un balanced. It is not like halo where everyone has the same choices of weapons and armor. You carry your loot with you seamlessly from single player to multi player. Which can make the high level players very tough to play against. Overall a 8.5 out of 10 for me.

The game is gorgeous, we all know that. It is MMOish. You see other players about, but there is little interaction unless you are in a party, and on comms. I did not play it for more than a few hours, but it seemed (mechanics-wise) like every other game of the genre. You go to a map, reach your objective by shooting aliens, then go back to your ship until you select another map. The hubs are for using vendors and banking items. Your ship is a mask for the loading screen, mostly. It is a good game. My son has logged hours upon hours in it. He is a big fan of shooters. I enjoy shooters, but was expecting more in this game. I expected it to come closer to living up to the hype.

I wasn't a fan of Halo but this game completely blew my mind!

I was hoping for a Skyrim experience but only get a Halo game with other random player showing up during my missions. The story is okay and the weapons are nice but the multi-player is unbalanced and the worlds lack any interaction that helps give some life to the experience. It plays just like Halo so the gameplay feels familiar and solid but I want more. At least give me some random people to interact with, save, and get things from outside of Earth! I recommend this if you like infinite Halo gameplay! I don't if you are looking for more than that.
