Great Graphics and the multiplayer game is amazing

Bought for my 12 yr old son and he loves this. Great challenging game. He loves the PvP, changing armor, campaigns, weapons and venues. Highly competitive and challenging but fun and engaging at the same time.

This is a good game that didn't take any risks. The campaign is decent and can be very wild and fun at times, but it their isn't a ton of variety in what you're doing. Finding/purchasing new weapons is just okay - it's nothing like Borderlands in that regard, I was hoping for a bit more. Multiplayer is fast and furious but not complex. You kind of have to be leveled up in order to be effective and some types of guns are useless in multi. All in all it's a pretty polished shooter that has basic RPG/MMO elements but it's not as deep as I would have liked. It's more marketing/flash than substance but still a solid 4/5 for me.

I purchased the PS4 for my brother for his birthday. And I am beyond happy since I've become the best sister in the world LOL. He is obsessed with his PS4 and plays it from morning to night. It's a bit crazy with the amount of time he spends playing games on the PS4. But overall I am ecstatic with my purchase.

It's from Bungie, the people that made Halo! That's all you need to know, right? Well, it doesn't yet live up to the Halo series, but could surpass it, depending how the rest of the game shapes out. It moves from the scripted, set-piece style of gameplay that Halo was known for, and trades it for a more open world/MMO style of gameplay. The moment to moment focus isn't as good as Halo, but the game feels huge in scope. And of course, because it's almost like an MMO, it means that the game isn't close to being done yet. More balance changes, content, and expansion packs to come mean that this game will evolve over time.

I really liked this game because there was online coop play that didn't require having to talk to work together. not a big fan of the chat as people are not very nice... i.e. with the excessive language. This coming from a crusty Soldier from multiple deployments...

A game with so much potential, yet held back by an awful story and repetitive gameplay. The only positive aspect of this game is the mechanics and rpg aspects.

Thus far, it has been fun to play. Gameplay is excellent, but the story for single player could be stronger and better elaborated. I'll update as I progress in the game.

The newest from Bungie is a great effort, lots of awesome gameplay, lots of fun, even when playing the same things over again. It stays fresh. Multiplayer could be a little better, matchmaking suffers.

The first year of this game was nothing but a beta. I kept playing in between breaks because it is a fun social game like CoD and other multiplayer games. Just wish they had done 60 FPS instead of 30 FPS.

I have this game on the PS3 and I love it. So when I got the PS4 I wanted it badly, but I refused to pay $60 for it again. I was very happy when I saw this on sale for $19.99 and with my Gamers Club was able to get it for even cheaper.

What was all the hype about? I beat the game in about 20 hours of gameplay and didn't even realize it due to it's extremely poor storyline. The multiplayer is lacking many typical multiplayer elements and is very repetitive and boring. The storyline levels are capped and do not increase so, you're stuck with the level they start out with. This causes a very poor replay value due to the fact that your character levels up but the game levels do not. There are items that you collect through the game that have no value and you cannot do anything with them but drop them. I think this is the worst game so far for the new gen consoles. The only positives are it's smooth and clean graphics.
