The game is amazing. The story can be beaten in a day but after the story the game unlocks harder strike modes and raids. The game forces you be social and find other players in order to do heroic missions and raids. There are very few ways of communicating to strangers. Subclasses actually feel different and need to be played differently. The loot system is set for each person and rewards items at the end of matches. However the loot system also screws you over on legendary items by letting them be identified as only rares. (3 out of 3 legendary engrams turned into rares) The caters towards hardcore and casual players by setting a few weekly limits and having events on certain days.

Destiny is a great game with great graphics. You are able to travel around different worlds and team up with players from around the world. Definitely a good buy.

Playing Destiny is a different experience than your typical FPS, its a mixture of RPG and a mmo except its not massive. You start off by creating your character, warlock, hunter and I believe gun slinger. You can create up to two characters and go on with the story mode, you can create a fireteam of up to 3 people (either from your friendslist or randoms) and enter challenging planets such as earth,moon,Venus etc. They of course have the traditional multiplayer as well such as free for all, capture the flag, rumble etc. Destiny is the type of game that will make you either love it or hate it.

Being the first FPS I've played on console in a long time, I was relearning both console controls and the game specific controls. Despite that, the layout is quite intuitive and made for an easy transition. Beautiful graphics. There is a lot of load time in between things though.. but that long load time allows for seemless gameplay within the area you've loaded. I wish there were better "find a group" options outside of the premium memberships and even then, that those premium options extended to more of the games play modes. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to seeing more story and content!

WhiWhilee story leaves much to be desired, the game itself has been pretty impressive. You won't find a much better Coop experience in my opinion, but if you don't have a group of friends to play with, you'll struggle when trying to experience the end game

I had a ton of fun playing Destiny. However, I do not agree with Bungie's strategy of pushing DLCs that are lacking in quality and content on its players at near MSRP for new games. With that being said, this game is fun to play especially with friends

Destiny is a fun game. But the more important thing to say is that I purchased this game as Pre-Owned from Best Buy, something I hadn't done as of yet, and I was impressed to get a game disc that didn't have any scratches or issues. Well done Best Buy.

I'm not one to buy games when they come out unless it is a game I want to have. This game was bought for less than $20 with the gamers club membership. I have nothing bad to say but I can't wait to try it out on my new ps4 pro.

Buy this if you have friend to play with, it is more entertainer this way. The story mission are really short, but the online will keep you going and going.

I LOVE THIS GAME! Me and my 2 besties have been having a blast in destiny! So many different activities you and your friends wont get bored anytime soon. The game looks stunning, the attention to detail and lighting is second to none! I don't even like FPS, but this game at least does it well. I would still prefer over the shoulder or third person, but for what it is i think its the best. You can make a party (fireteam) and do ANY activity together without regrouping! Go do some of the story mode, do a little free roam to collect materials, do some PVP matches, to name a few, all without leaving your party! One of the best integrated CO-OP experiences I have had.

Although Destiny's story is not as in-depth as the Halo franchise, the game boasts a plethora of gaming experiences in both the campaign and the multiplayer.

I like to game know but I fear I will get bored with it real quick. Seems a little repetitive. More story is needed in the game. Other wise great graphics.

I have really been enjoying this game. The visuals are amazing and the Fallen were well concieved and cool. Time to level up and the different weeapons and armor upgrades makes for an amazing RPG. I have two areas where I think Bugie droppe the ball. Not having a 2-player slit screen is just crazy. Here you have a game that begs for partners/team, an no way to do so in same household. The other area which I find verry annoying are the buufferr times wheen entering nr world or tower, takes way to long. Feels like I am back 5 years ago to when games did this all the time.

Destiny is a great multiplayer game - both cooperative and competitive. It has several gameplay staples from MMOs - PVE, PVP, loot, raids, subclasses - but it dials down the required party numbers considerably. You don't need a group of 10-15 clan members online at the same time to enjoy the endgame; but you will need at least two other friends, and in some cases, a group of 6. The initial content can be completed fairly quickly, but the intention is that this game will continue to be updated on a regular basis through expansion packs. If you're a fan of HALO, this is a strong spiritual successor, with some RPG elements added in to add to the longevity.

My 14 year old son LOVES this game! Only problem is the updates are expensive. $29.99 in June and a new one in September for $89.99. They should make the initial game a download for free if they are going to charge this much for updates

Destiny is a great game that just needs a couple kinks worked out. The graphics are excellent and the gameplay is really fun. I like the way the character upgrades and equipment work. However, I don't like the loot system. I'm at level 16 and have only gotten a couple of Blue items(2nd tier). My understanding is that playing the game at Hard doesn't increase the drop rate of items, which kinda stinks. I think Destiny can be an awesome game with a couple tweaks, but I have a feeling it will run its course within a month for me if no changes are made.

Absolutely great game that is fun to play and incredibly addictive. It could use more story and some additional player interaction features but other than that it is excellent.

I would say playstation updates downloads are faster than xbox .The game took a lot of time to update may be the raining affected the internet speed. I played the games a few minutes and no complaints about it

quick play to level 20, then it gets hard that you have to play online in the crucible against other players and with other players to get better equipment, time consuming

I haven't played any game in the series so I started with this one. Its a pretty good shooter but nothing that special. When I finish this, I hear D2 is better.
