Right off the bat it is a fun intense game and you find yourself wanting to achieve everything the game has to offer. But be cautious that this game isn't for everyone. You get thrown into a EXTREMELY short unclear storyline and if your not a very social person the game becomes difficult when it comes to certain levels. Sadly it becomes EXTREMELY repetitious after the first week or two so be aware what you're getting yourself into if you're not use to "grinding" in MMO's.

If World of Warcraft, Halo, and Borderlands got together and had a baby, it would be Destiny. The open world/mission selection of the story is very imaginative and well executed. You never feel forced or cornered into playing some mission that you don't feel like playing. The ability to seamlessly go from the story arc to competitive multiplayer is genius. There is so much to do and explore, but it is not overwhelming as one can bite off as much as they want at a time. I will be putting many hours into the well crafted and inovative game.

The polish on destiny is great. It does have that mmo feel but only if you have friends to play with. It's great if you love working toward goals because there's a lot of challenges in this game.

This is a great game for a group of friends to play together. Graphics are great and there is fun to be had in both the PVE and PVP modes. The missions can be repetitive and there is not enough exploration though. It's disappointing that much of the new content for the game in the future will be payed dlc. Even if there was a lot more that could have been done by the creators, like adding a much more interesting story, I still have a great time when playing the game.

Best first shooter gamer ever. The game is full of action. The graphics on PS4 are futuristic. Making me feel like I'm actually in the game.

Destiny is a pretty fun game up to a point. After countless hours of playing, it can get pretty repetitive doing the same search and destroy missions over different backgrounds. The game is really fun until you get to lvl. 20, after that it takes a very long time and countless playthroughs just to get one little smidge of light armor to level up. But the mindless shooting and online multiplayer is extremely fun and addicting!

I would not usually ever pay $60 for a ps4 game. I got this game when they were offering it for $15 with a free movie ticket. So far I have really enjoyed it. I think it's well worth playing.

Gameplay is fun, multiplayer is fun. Lacks story and it is fairly short

Havent had much time to play the game end to end but so far the story line has been a bit confusing with little to no guidance in some levels.

I got a great deal on a PS4 and needed a game to play, Destiny was so hyped I figure even half as good as they were saying would make it a great first game for my new PS4. I've been blown away. It's not great fiction, but the story is interesting and the game play is smooth and superior for a FPS. Once multilayer is unlocked you'll be loving this game. Fun with friends a good end of day relaxation. Destiny is a must have for this new generation of consoles.

Destiny, although gorgeous, is SO boring! Your objectives the whole time will be to enter an area, clear all enemies on your way to the waypoint, then take out all enemies as the swarm your location once you're there. It's bland and repetitive, but may be better with your friends... I'm not sure, my friends were smart enough not to waste their time with it...

It's a shame when a game suffers from its own expectations because it is not able to live up to them. Destiny is a fantastic example of this. Perhaps if the game was not hyped to be so revolutionary, it would not have ended up being such a disappointment. A weird mix of MMO and FPS the elements just don't quite mesh together cohesively. Co-op combat can be fun, but the enemies are too repetitive. PvP has many flaws. Perhaps the game will get better as updates come and the devs work diligently, but isn't a game supposed to be good when you buy it?

I'm usually not a fan of first person shooters but this game is great. I love how it's an mmo that I don't have to pay a monthly fee for. I play with my bro a lot and we both enjoy it. Now I have to get the expansions.

This game helps continue the norm. that Bungie can make a great shooter. Awesome online coop with friends and light RPG aspect to help build your character up. Where it falls short is the lack of open world levels, only being able to team up with your friends and way too much hype. This game doesn't set any new bars, just reinforces them. Don't get me wrong, a fun game with countless hours of content bit don't be expecting a game changer with this one.

It doesn't get 5 stars because of all the little glitches in the game and the fact that there are a lot of updates, some of which do more harm than good. Still a good game none the less.

The game is excellent. However, while watching my boyfriend play it we've come to some conclusions. One is that the game is gorgeous but lacking in some explanations. We had to look up some things that weren't plot related. Just technical things that should have been made more obvious or explained. There's a serious lack of items in the game and the plot is lack luster and short. But the graphics are great and the details are beyond exceptional.

Was at first glance of this games release a few years ago was that of all not that impressed by it. Thought it would have been quite the cut and paste of Halo with being made by Bunjie and what not, but so far, I've been loving the actual game. Haven't done any of the multiplayer/online playing of it, just sticking to the story missions and what not for the time being and it has me quite drawn in. The graphics are great, gameplay is smooth, and overall flow of the game is quite good.

If you ever liked Halo for Xbox. This is made by the original creators of Halo. Very decent game.

this game was everything we thought it would be. We love fighting aliens and when online I can play with my son while he is at home

This is an interesting and worthwhile game to explore. I like the graphics, and the ability to upgrade the character. The gameplay is pretty good, but where it has kept my interest is in the feel of the worlds and the upgrading of the character. There is an awesome app that accompanies the game. It is pretty sweet how it compliments the game. Also I have been surprised and pleased with how the music and tempo of the battles gets my pulse going.
