As a former mmo player and halo fan, this game does it all for me. I don't have the time or the inclination to play mmos like I used to, but I miss playing with friends and raiding. I can log in for an hour or two here and there, run a few strikes with some friends and be done. You can grind out gear and upgrades when/if you want to. But, it's not necessary. I really like how you can be as hardcore or as casual as you want and still enjoy it. I am almost 100% PVE, so I can't really speak to how the PVP is.

In hear a lot of reviews compare it to halo al because bungie made it but this is a tad bit different and if it was suppose to be a halo game halo would be the name not destiny.

Great graphics, solid weapons, but little too much repetition on the same maps. Overall a fun game.

It is good. Kinda short unless you like grinding the same content to get the best gear a la diablo.

The game so far has very good gameplay and solid graphics, but the storyline seems to kind of lost.

One of the games that are found on PS4 and it is supposed to be better than the Xbox One version due to the extra free content. 6gb mandatory patch upon launch though. I buy discs so I don't have to download!

I felt like I was just pushing on through the same basic mission of shoot some enemies, then horde defense while playing this game.

Destiny is a really great game. I loved HALO, and Bungie has done it again with Destiny. It plays almost like a Halo/Borderlands Hybrid game. It is great!!!!!

I am a pc gamer but this has been a lot of fun on my ps4. It can get repetitive if you don't take new bounties. I've found a few bugs but nothing show stopping. I have a 150Mb internet connection and play late on the weekends and I've noticed a lot of network errors. It tells me network is not available so network features won't work or it just boots me right before the last shot to kill a boss :). Still totally worth playing.

Destiny is fantastic. It's easily the best looking game on the PS4. The only real downside is the story is kind of shallow.

The game starts out pretty fun. However I grew pretty tired with the constant grinding and repetitive game play. Multiplayer is mediocre at best compared to similar titles.

I like how this game has the elements of a first person shooter as well as an RPG (think Diablo II - III). The game is well made both visually and structure. However for some it may seem repetitive since there are times when you will be doing a mission you did over. I believe there is an expansion coming out soon so that might be a good reason to pick up this game. The graphics are great~

I've enjoyed this game every day since laugh. It is a great game to play with your buddies. It is a combination of Halo 3 ODST Firefight mode with aspects of Borderlands series, Diablo series, and a little mmo-esque features. Game requires an internet connection to play and do NOT recommend this game unless you have friends to play with.

Game is definitely good and addicting until you max level and then it starts to repeat itself.

Destiny is a very interesting game. The story is kinda eh, but the multi-player is really fun!

Destiny gameplay is topnotch, as one would expect from the makers of Halo. Playing with friends is also a lot of fun, however the level of grinding is daunting. At higher levels, players are forced to spend hours and hours collecting materials to upgrade weapons and armor instead of actually play missions and fight bosses. Despite this big flaw, the game itself is very good, specially if you can play with other friends.

Destiny is a great game that can, after about 20 hours, become extremely repetitive. Like most Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) games, it requires a steady grind of repeat missions to gain a higher level, which allows you to have better equipment, which you can use to gain even greater levels, and so on. If you enjoyed HALO, you'll enjoy Destiny - but don't let the hype fool you. This is 4-star game with a 5-star budget.
