The game started out slow for me only because the loot didnt really start flowing in until about lvl 12+. The story missions are a bit bland but i still find them very fun because of how the gameplay works and the atmosphere that bungie has built. The strikes can be really hard but i was able to finish the ones on earth,moon, and venus in 1 try - they were all super fun! Overall, its been a very fun game to play and even better if you have friends to co-op with. Highly recommended!

Get this if you are going to play it with well known friends. Or else it's going to be boring. The so try line is boring. And the gameplay is just like any other shooters.

I don't usually play MMO-type games, but I love the Borderlands series. I found that Destiny is similar enough to Borderlands to be fun to play. Haven't gotten very far in the story as I don't have a lot of time to play, but so far, the story isn't as engaging as Borderlands, hence the 4-star rating. First-person shooter mechanics are spot on. I'm not much on PvP multiplayer, but had some fun with it when I tried it.

I need to figure this out a little more but it has interesting game play and use of weapons.

Overall this is a great FPS. Lots of action. It throws you into the online community almost immediately. You get to see other players trying to accomplish the same objectives as you (or previous... or future...). It allows you to be as interactive with other players as you want, or be a lone wolf in the crowd. Other than some initial release week connectivity issue with Bungie (-1 star), I've been loving this game.

This game is really great. If you own a ps4, you need this game. Online play is very fun. Story mode is not so great.

Kind of like call of duty meets world of Warcraft. Shooter with customizable character that levels and has 2 different trees of abilities to choose from. Many different armor and guns to choose from!

I initially was not interested in destiny at all until the beta came out and I quickly became enthralled with the universe and the great landscapes. The game play is a fusion of Borderlands, halo, and warframe. The mmo aspects of this game are nicely hidden from the player and I never felt like I was forced to cooperate with other players outside of the raid missions. I love this game and the beautiful graphics and will definitely buy it again if they ever release a PC version

I've only been playing for a few days thus far, but I keep coming back to it. I normally play action adventure games or straight up first person shooters, so I wasn't sure how I would take to the MMO elements. But I think I get it now: it's hard not to crave the next powerful piece of gear or gun upgrade. THIS IS HOW THEY GET YOU. But it's fun, and the competitive multiplayer harkens back to some classic Halo fun.

Bungie has done it again! What a great gameplay experience! Never has a game had a little bit of everything for everyone all rolled into one great game. You have to play it for a few hours to really get it & it is definitely worth your time. PS4 is the best way to experience Destiny as Bungie is working exclusively with Sony to bring gamers a better way to play with timed content & early access to missions, strikes, maps, weapons & more! Earth is depending on you Guardian-

I really, really enjoy this game. It took some convincing from my friends to actually get it because I didn't think I would like it but now that I have it, it's pretty much the only game that I play.

The gameplay is very fun and addicting. The story however doesnt really work out too well.

I didn't buy the game for myself, however I have heard that destiny is almost similar to Halo, so I can't imagine it to be that bad, especially if you are a halo fan.

Great game for anyone who loves a FPS. Kid friendly as their isnt the adult content you would see in games like Call of Duty. Story is great when you piece it together with the online resources.

If you like first person shooters, this is worth a look. The RPG and MMO lite features provide replayability and an incentive to keep progressing in the single player campaign, even if the narrative is a little sparse and the campaign a little short. Competitive multiplayer is available as well, but fairly simplistic. If you like Bungie games it's worth giving Destiny a try, as there is a lot to enjoy as long as this particular blend of genres is to your personal taste.

Destiny is beautiful graphically, and is easy to pick up for a beginner if you've ever played Halo, Call of Duty or any other FPS out there. The multiplayer is fun. There aren't many MMO aspects to the game besides being able to raid or join a party online or a group of friends in a clan and run missions together. Besides that it's fun and I'm hoping this will improve the MMO parts of the game in the future.

I wasnt one of those that was really looking forward to this game. But when it came out I decided to give it a try. Its not the greatest game, and the story is pretty bad. But despite all this I keep coming back and playing it more. I have 3 different characters, all different classes. Its just a fun game. The shooting and controls are perfect. If you have played any Halo game this will feel very familiar.

Destiny is a great game for anyone that likes to play with others. The leveling up system works great and also makes the game addicting. Would recommend to anyone looking to play a fun Co-Op game.

Great new shooter game. Storyline is slow at first but graphics are good.

Great game so far. My only fear is that it will be too easy to get to the max level, and then it will be boring.
