Needs more 'adventure', 'treasure hunting', and less shoot em up! Great graphics, but the sets and objectives feel very similar. Difficulty understanding how to progress after reaching the 20 level... Nice effort, but didn't quite hit a home run.. Big game but rather repetitious actions.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my son so I really can't give a review on the game itself. But the package was in perfect condition and the price was great!

Great graphics and easy to learn controls. Online elements make for a unique experience.

It is a pretty good game overall. There is some lacking support with availability of in game chat and being able to pick up groups for raids and such. Overall its a pretty good experience. Gameplay that is comparable to HALO but with grinding involved. Not too rough on grinding but thats the way it is for a MMO. Definitely overhyped but worth a shot.

Destiny looks beautiful. I want to love it, but i merely like it. Why? Most of the mission structure is the same. Fight to a location, then fight off waves of enemies. More locations may have helped this, but you are constantly returning to same 4. It's still a good game though, and if you like Bungie or Halo games, it's definitely worth checking out.

I've had the game for over a month now and I am severely bored with it. I don't play often either, 8-10 hours a week.. Finished with story, crucible is unbalanced... I don't know, not loving the game. It's boring, repetitive. Same stuff over and over again. I do the raids and strikes and I get loot, but I have to dismantle it most of the time because it's always lower level than what I already have. Playing game the first few times on the same map, battling same aliens again and again was fun. Game is fun. Great visuals, good sounds but it's just lacking. I keep going back to boring. I was playing last night and it just hit me, I'm done, I can't do this same thing again and not get rewarded properly after it. Grind it out and get nothing of value. Been stagnant with weapons and armor. I've been stuck at level 23 for about a week now, can't get armor better than the one I already have. And I've had the same level 17 auto rifle for about two weeks now. I'm just sick of it

I've only played for a few hours but I did play the beta a few months ago. Not much has changed the beta was very good and so is the finished product. There is a lot to do and many different types of gameplay to explore. From solo story line, open world exploration, coop missions, and pvp there plenty of options to fit everyone's gaming preferences.

This game was for a friend initially but it has a great multiplayer and ever expanding roots.

Destiny is a really good multiplayer first person shooter. If you have played the Borderlands games, then you will be a bit familiar with Destiny. However, where this game really shines is the huge multiplayer world. You can be out doing a mission, and then some online people will suddenly show up and help you out. That's what adds to the fun of the game, there's always something new that can happen.

It meets the expectations it set out to meet for a new triple a franchise. Reviewers were a little unfair with the finished product.

The game lives up to being very fun to play with an immersive environment, but does require having optimal network connection.

This game is a great all-around game! I love how it is part RPG, part first person shooter. The graphics for the PS4 are simply amazing. The only downside that I've seen with it, is the intermittent disconnection issues. I know those will get worked out soon, which is my reason for a five start rating. This game definitely will not disappoint! I've already spent hours upon hours playing it!!

The game was hyped up to be a great MMO FPS. I have to agree with the latter. Shooting mechanics and game play are great - most will not argue with that. What is up with the 3 person party limit and voice chat that is direct instead of broadcast ? This limits the ability to jump in and party with random strangers. Makes the experience feel very socially restricted (unless you have friends that play) even though you see a multitude of people out and about. For the story, there is not much to say. Missions seem redundant and the story does not draw you in. The main motivation for advancing in missions is for leveling / loot. A compelling story line combined with better social features would have made this game a long term hit - in my opinion. Future updates will surely improve these aspects of the game but in its current state I do not feel that the hype was justified and can be sustained for much longer (past 2014 if things don't change).
