I haven't been in the gaming world since N64, but as I have come back into it I noticed that many games rely on extensive story clips while cutting back on actual game play time. It used to take forever to beat a game with quite a bit of work, now the only thing that takes forever is the story clips - and for triple the cost! Soapbox aside, I have really enjoyed this game, it has a good ratio of story to playtime and even once you do beat it there's always multiplayer (though it is ridiculous that you have to pay to get on that now as well...but I won't go there). All in all, this is one of the first games for the "next gen" platforms that I'm actually glad I purchased.

This game has got me back to playing my ps4 again. I love being able to upgrade my player. It's like playing old school Golden eye in space!

This is such a great game. If your are a fan of adventure/fps games like boarderlands you well enjoy this game. Multiplayer is pretty fun and gives a welcomed break from CoD and battlefield

Good game but over Hyped, I like this game but i was expecting more. Fun game bought for both ps4 and the one. Very good game,short story, and strictly online, but fun to play with friends.

This is a great game.Usually don't play shooter games but found this one a lot of fun.Gives you a lot of different planets to explore which each have there own separate missions to complete

This is an enjoyable game with great graphics. the only downsides are the small teams and the long waits between games as the game matches players and loads.

Think Halo with RPG elements with a dash of co-op. The core game is fast and fun. There is a lot of exploration and side missions to do. End game play is all about gear and weapon upgrades.

I bought this game for my 14 year old son and he loves it. It is similiar to Halo. It is a one player game, but you can play online with other players if you are connected to the internet.

Game is good. Not great. Not yet anyway. Rather limited in scope at the moment and the classes are too similar. Updates and DLC on the way to expand on it.

There's not much of a story mode, but the game does the FPS part really well. The game is pretty bare bones until around level 20 or so when things start to unlock. The loot system is broken as of now, but is something they are supposed to be working on. Probably once this issue is completely resolved, the game will become a lot better and obtaining higher level equipment won't be as much of a grind. I preordered, but looking back, if I'd waited I would've been okay too.

This is the best ever. There is no end to the action. I am constantly amazed by the realistic sound quality. The video is just live a live broadcast or better. There is never ending play.

The story mode is adequate, although it could have been better. However, the main part of this game is the multiplayer experience which is one of the best ever for a first person shooter.

I gave it a 4 because when you unlock a new gun it looks just like the old one just with more power. Overall it's a good game to play with friends or solo.

It is a good mmo style game if you like that style of game. Unfortunately I was under the impression that it was more like a hybrid of Borderlands with Halo but instead I thought the game was more like an mmo with pretty much a non-existent story line. The other problem is that this game is only fun playing with friends online otherwise it gets dull pretty quick. If you have a lot of friends and don't care for a non-existent story than this game might be right for you.

This game had me hooked on the start. You begin immediately with fast-paced action that never slows down. The looting system is amazing too. It is very rewarding when you get a new drop.

This is a great mix of different games. If you are a fan of call of duty, if you like the game Halo , this is the game for you. It mixes both games in one

Game is a fun mix of MMO and FPS. Story is very thin and end game is where all the fun is, but a pretty good game.

Fun game to play with your friends, great graphics. Downside u really have to put in a lot of work to get good armor. Along with the story is super short.

A mechanically great shooter with no story to speak of and VERY limited replay value. For as much time as the developer wants you to spend leveling up past level 20 they did not provide enough variety to keep me entertained for that amount of time. You are required to repeat the same few mission over and over to progress, which just isn't fun. I got to level 27 and finally asked myself "what am I doing?" then removed the game from my console and haven't played since.

If you're a fan of Halo, you'll love it. Bungie's best production to date and was worth the wait. New content added daily/weekly and upcoming expansion packs. 10 year deal with Activision, so Destiny will be here for some time to come. A few cons...1st, it does get repetitive at times. You'll be working toward a "new" objective...but it will "feel" old because you're in the same maps. 2nd, it's VERY tough to level up after you get above level 20. You'll absolutely have to EARN every advance in level. The PvP area, "The Crucible"....be prepared, it's a slaughter house.
