At first I was not a fan of the game. It seemed slow and too single payer focused. As I played more and read some online walkthroughs I learned some of the tricks and started getting into the game. The upgrade system is reallyfun.... If you liked any halo games, this is halo++

This game was hyped and fairly well received. I found it sub-par for a consol shooter. There were some good points to the game but the game failed to hold my interest as long as battlefield and other franchise games. I would avoid buying this game unless it is on sale.

Overall a fantastic game. The first mmo-fps-rpg I've ever played. There are a few issues that are apparently being worked on. Namely no voice chat in game nor match making for raids/weekly heroics. Past that the pvp is fun and has a decent story like. Recomend to anyone who likes fps or rpg games!

Really am enjoying this game. Only down side is me and my som play every game together so i wish it had 2 player mode or at least 2 player online. I understand why it does not but would rather 2 player mode.

Destiny is fun and polished, but shallow and grindy. Weapons/combat is tight and the game looks real nice. When you beat a hard boss with some people it feel's exhilarating. However the story is short and badly written, with technobabble left and right. I don't consider the Halo series story any good, but this makes them look brilliant. Once you get to higher levels you need to grind the same levels, patrols, and strikes over and over, just at higher and higher difficulty to get better gear/gems, so you can raise your "light level" so you can play higher and higher difficulty levels The game is fun, I was just playing it literally 35 minutes ago, but it's not a game that I love. If I didn't have it I'd buy it, but not at full price.

It's a pretty cool game in concept and play. It's really fun when others are playing on a team with voice. I like how you could be playing solo or team and during your mission you come across other players fighting their battles and you can help them and visa versa.

this game has so much potential. the mechanics and gunplay are top notch. the story is lacking and convoluted. i don't care about online so i can't comment. overall a very fun shooter with rpg and mmo elements.

Mixture of Call of Duty and Halo at its best. This game rocks! I have played all of the Halo and COD games and this game is a great combo of both of them. You have to be a PlayStation Plus to play online. Best way to play after Story mode is with at least 2 people until you built up ranking.

It seems more games are coming out today with an on-line component that doesn't work. Destiny is one of the few that got it right from the beginning. I've seen few problems while playing. In fact at the moment I can't remember any. This is a very well supported game that's a must buy.

Simply amazing. Challenging but not to the point you get frustrated and give up. Online interaction is a lot of fun and they incorporate that into the actual story line working with other guardians and meeting new people is always fun. Once again bungie has destroyed the competition.

I am one who usually stays away from first person shooters. After a friend convinced me to play the beta, I was hooked in. The MMO aspects are definitely a plus. I like the change of play style to that of the more traditional PC MMO ie: Warld of Warcraft.

This game was very ambitious but it could not pull off everything it attempted to do. The shooter mechanics are phenomenal however the other elements such as the loot system and story do not work well.

As an old school gamer this game has potential especially if you have time to coordinate with your buddies to play together. The newness is there but after awhile the traditional "upgrade your gear try to understand what works best and what to equip".......who has time for that unless you have the luxury of sitting in front of the TV all day. ***I would recommend to a friend just to coordinate a team effort***. Gaming industry needs to start building games that have good story line and (keep in mind that most consumers even the young kiddos only have limited time to play)great replay factor. Of course the hard core gamer will definitely love it or hate it based on if they are a console or PC gamer .

I haven't had time to play it due to me being an extremely busy college student. However, I have heard that the game is very fun and addicting to play! Best Buy shipped my game as soon as possible and I got it in about 5 - 9 days, it arrived right on time like they said it would.

I'm only a few hours into the game but absolutely love it. Definitely a must-have for any PS4 owner. I'm not a fan of MMORPG games but this game blends online and first person single player shooters into one. Basically Halo and Call of Duty put together in a massive online world.

Not many areas to explore, story is nonexistent. Bungie seems to want to get as much as they can from their customers by releasing expensive DLC's

No story mode whatsoever, no idea what is going on. The items are endless grinding. DLC is locked on disc and is paid and needed to complete the story, not worth the full price. Maybe worth 35-40.
