It has it's up and downs, it's a good shooter but graphically doesn't feel next gen and gameplay feels very empty in the story department, also you need to reach leave 5 before you can actually play multiplayer. remote play works well, and weapons feel good but from the makers of halo I would expect a better story because there's nothing here to keep me interested

bought this game about a month before Destiny 2 came out because I was impatient and also wanted to play the original before I got Destiny 2. Great game! very fun.

Great game. I like the whole gaming universe and upgrading system. Everything looks beautiful. It was a lot of fun working with my friends on everything.

I was skeptical of Destiny being a good game for the PS4 but it has quickly become my favorite game in the last few weeks. It has loads of action and I like how the internet connectivity adds to the gameplay.

Wonderful game. Visually, it looks amazing. Slick and smooth controls like C.O.D. but with a Halo feel. I am not the type of gamer that will sit and play by myself. I enjoy getting on with friends and being able to coordinate efforts. The game is challenging, but not too challenging. It holds long-term interest with the ability to continue working on improving your character even after the story is over. I only buy a couple of games a year and this is the one I got and is worth getting.

I've always hated first person shooters. So mindless, so repetitive. But as soon as I saw this game, gave it a chance, and began to appreciate the story...it sucked me in. Amazing game. Give it a shot

My nephew has a blast playing with his online friends. Looks like a FPS grind fest but I guess it is only fun when you play with people you know like any other online type game.

Overall destiny is very fun if your used to bungies style of story telling and mp. However i feel it truly shines when you play with a full fire team and have team members that actually communicate.

An Open World Shooter made by the people that created Halo (bungie). This game delivers as promised. Good story arch, great graphics and very balanced game play for different types of character choices. Combat controls very similar to halo so the learning curve is almost zero. Multiplayer co-op online to help you get thru the tough bosses. The developers promised to grow this game over the next 10 years so it can only get better.

Good game that is lots of fun to play but the levels are repeat with just different objectives. Great if you can get a formal "team" that you like playing with as you can do Multiplayer like COD or do missions. Story seems weak; there really isn't character development or real backstory.

Destiny is a beautiful FPS. While there seems to "not be enough" in the game, I'm not a frequent player (any more). So, for the 2-3x a week that I get to play. This game is great. The controls are intuitive. Co-op play makes it a blast. While the single player story line leaves a little to be desired, the multiplayer is what keeps me coming back for me. Overall, it's a great next-gen game...made even better with friends online.

Destiny is a very Nice shooter, the multi player online Co op is where the game really shines. The game Can get very hard at times but the good thing is, you can have a online friend help you threw the level. But their are a few downside. The multi player death match is very uneven. Also its not really open world. But with a little RPG style, the game is still a very great experience. One of the best games I've played on the ps4

This game is a FPS RPG. First person shooting game with RPG elements. It is quite fun if you have a group of friends to play with but if you play solo it gets old real quick.

Destiny is great but it is very time consuming. Leveling up and gaining rewards will require you to put in the time. Needs to be played everyday for quickest advancement.

Destiny is just plain out of this world! Great story line, crossed with the online multiplayer "strikes" or PvE content, and the "crucible" PvP content, is fantastic. You'll never get bored!!

the story mode is short,but the graphics are amazing.The only problem with reviewing Destiny, with summing up my feelings and experiences so far, is that it will always be a case of ‘so far’. That’s why I’m leaving the extra point of breathing space on the score. It’s there for potential. To be filled. But with Destiny’s 10-year plan starting so strongly, and set to begin evolving over just the next few weeks, I feel very content that it eventually will be.

Overall this is a solid shooter with great gameplay mechanics. However, I feel like the marketing hype left me feeling unfulfilled. It is a fun game, but it gets repetitive (story) and leaves you wanting so much more, especially since it was pitched as the next evolution of the FPS. It's a solid first entry in this new IP, and lays a solid base for the next versions to fully live up to the hype of this release.

In playing Destiny it has some good things and bad things. The story is not the best, but for a fps there is so many things to kill. You build your armor up and that in turn builds your level up after level 20. They have a few challenges, that you really have to work as a team. The multi-player is a lot of fun as well, and still goes towards building your character up, unlike a lot of games that it is separate.

I preordered the game Destiny just because the producers were Bungie. Bungie is known for its Halo Series and I love them. In this game however, it didn't make me feel a AAA Game, because the campaign is very boring. I would say this game is a AA or just A. It is a good game if you look it as a sci-fi shooter, but if you see it's from Bungie, it feels like a very big disappointment since you know what Bungie is capable of. I like all the little cool things Bungie added such as creating your own personalized character, and the multiplayer is Halo style so it's very good too. But with only those things, it doesn't make you feel like the game is AAA. LIke the campaign. It is one of the worst campaign stories I ever know, and it is very boring. Overall it is a good game, but not enough when you talk about activision and Bungie, two of the best companies IMO in the FPS category. It is a sad but true story.

Great game, loved trying on redbox and got a great deal after joining gamer club at BestBuy - far better than Halo and hilarious. Can't wait to get into the DLC!
