My family loves this game... In fact, we love it so much that we purchased a another PS4 and TV so we could play together. lol It's challenging enough to be fun, clean enough I left my kids play, and community is freindly and supportive.

Maybe it's me but I couldn't really get into this game... It looks good but if you played all the versions of COD and HALO, this didn't seem all that wonderful...

Great game! It's been a long time since a game has had me loose track of time. Great story line, awesome graphics and online play is fun as well.

Destiny is a game you get if you have friends that you'd like to play with online. It does not work that well as a single player experience. It is something to coordinate times with and play with those you know. Match making doesn't always get turned on for all modes making some modes harder to get through by yourself. Overall a ton of fun, with great visuals, gameplay and mechanics. Lightbar and TouchPad are used in awesome ways - like hey remind me when I have the golden gun enabled by showing me a gold light - great use of the controller.

If World of Warcraft, Halo, and Borderlands got together and had a baby, it would be Destiny. The open world/mission selection of the story is very imaginative and well executed. You never feel forced or cornered into playing some mission that you don't feel like playing. The ability to seamlessly go from the story arc to competitive multiplayer is genius. There is so much to do and explore, but it is not overwhelming as one can bite off as much as they want at a time. I will be putting many hours into the well crafted and inovative game.

Honestly i was dissapointed, this game was overly hyped and has very little to no story or cut scenes. Loot is random even in multiplayer and is very frustrating

To be honest I'm only at level 3 and don't have as much time to play as I thought I would. There are a lot of cut scenes but once the game get's going it's fun.

This game has been so hyped, it's hard to think that it could ever live up to it, but it is fun to play if you have friends to play it with - just don't go into it expecting a great narrative or any kind of single player experience. This game is meant to be played online and doesn't even keep a save file on your local machine, so you cannot play it if you're not connected to the internet.

Best first shooter gamer ever. The game is full of action. The graphics on PS4 are futuristic. Making me feel like I'm actually in the game.

Destiny is a pretty fun game up to a point. After countless hours of playing, it can get pretty repetitive doing the same search and destroy missions over different backgrounds. The game is really fun until you get to lvl. 20, after that it takes a very long time and countless playthroughs just to get one little smidge of light armor to level up. But the mindless shooting and online multiplayer is extremely fun and addicting!

It's a great game at a great price. If you need something to waste a lot of time, this is your game. You can download the demo online if you want to try it first, but the price was better at Best Buy.

While I've only just started this game, the opening scenes immerse you in a feeling of great importance. This isn't merely a game, you're taking on the responsibilities of a guardian to protect your planet. Since I'm a Playstation fanboy, this is my first encounter with bungie. It's shaping up to be a good one. If you like first person shooters but you're feeling a little empty after playing all of the COD iterations, Destiny should fill your need for expansive gameplay and story.

The game is fun. It gets 5 stars when you are actually playing. However, stupid things need to go. Orbit needs to be removed completely. It is a "time sink" for nothing. Weapon /armor previews are not 3d rotational? really? Really??? 10 year old games have this... The Grind is TERRIBLE. Run the same two or three things EVERY DAY. Always "Guard Ghost while he tries his best to get you killed.

I avoided all of the hype with this game. As an experienced gamer of years, I've learned to avoid betas and ignore most communities that surround themselves in hype and cling onto every little word given and attempt to manipulate the limited detail into some sort of self-serving, yet non-existent invention. I didn't walk into this with any expectations, but I can assume that those who did expect something, didn't expect what they got. This is a good game to play through. The story line is vivid, the plot is interesting and potentially endless, but something is truly lacking. The game plays out as if it's going to be an MMOFPS, but that really isn't what it feels like you get into. It feels like you just jump into chosen maps that are sparsely populated with other players while doing miscellaneous quests of no specific importance. These quests are often for factions and characters that you either don't care about, haven't met, or just are never described to you in any important fashion. Then when it's time to run into the instances to take down specific, story-based encounters, all feelings of the MMO aspect fall away. The amount of open world is limited to a hand full of zones that don't really amount to a free-roam world. The storyline is fun, and it's a great game to play through once... but after that... when all there is to play is "end game", the fun factor falls off into oblivion.

Right off the bat it is a fun intense game and you find yourself wanting to achieve everything the game has to offer. But be cautious that this game isn't for everyone. You get thrown into a EXTREMELY short unclear storyline and if your not a very social person the game becomes difficult when it comes to certain levels. Sadly it becomes EXTREMELY repetitious after the first week or two so be aware what you're getting yourself into if you're not use to "grinding" in MMO's.

The polish on destiny is great. It does have that mmo feel but only if you have friends to play with. It's great if you love working toward goals because there's a lot of challenges in this game.

This is a great game for a group of friends to play together. Graphics are great and there is fun to be had in both the PVE and PVP modes. The missions can be repetitive and there is not enough exploration though. It's disappointing that much of the new content for the game in the future will be payed dlc. Even if there was a lot more that could have been done by the creators, like adding a much more interesting story, I still have a great time when playing the game.

Was at first glance of this games release a few years ago was that of all not that impressed by it. Thought it would have been quite the cut and paste of Halo with being made by Bunjie and what not, but so far, I've been loving the actual game. Haven't done any of the multiplayer/online playing of it, just sticking to the story missions and what not for the time being and it has me quite drawn in. The graphics are great, gameplay is smooth, and overall flow of the game is quite good.

this game was everything we thought it would be. We love fighting aliens and when online I can play with my son while he is at home

I would not usually ever pay $60 for a ps4 game. I got this game when they were offering it for $15 with a free movie ticket. So far I have really enjoyed it. I think it's well worth playing.
