love the game play, been playing since i bought it!

If you purchased the vanilla copy of Destiny the new update locks a large portion behind the Taken King content, thus giving you half a game. If you haven't purchased House of Wolves or any DLC it's cheaper to get this. If you did just wait for a sale..game is good but it should be at discount for early adopters of Destiny.

I would recommend Destiny: The Taken King for anyone who is teenage (or older) for a cool first-person shooter experience that also incorporates lightweight role-playing aspects and considerable multiplayer elements. Note: You will need Playstation Plus to get the full value out of this game. Tip: Please try out the free demo using the Playstation Store; it will let you get up to 3 characters up to Level 7. This helped me decide to buy the game and it helped me pick which of the three character types I wanted to "auto-level up" to level 25. Overall: A solid game. Side note: Please be aware that a new expansion is coming soon so you will also need to buy that to keep up with the game completely.

I am about 12 hours in on the game, many is it absolutely amazing. This is one of those games that you say "Where has this been my whole life". I have played many games, this is definitely in the top 5. I was concerned with all the reviews that I have read. This does NOT disappoint.

Destiny has really improved in the year since launch. The Taken King expansion has reworked a lot of the broken mechanics and we're left with one heck of a game. As a new player, I haven't been able to put it down. I've even gone ahead and referred a few friends to the game.

This edition is the original year 1 game with the codes for the 3 expansion packs. You can only create 3 characters, so basically each gamer in the house will need their own $60 update. None the less, the kids still love playing the new expansions.

I purchased destiny simply because my friend told me to, and im glad i did. If you like mmo's, rpg's,fps's, platform games, destiny is for you, it has it all. Just be sure to tell your friends to get it too since playing with friends is the only way to truly enjoy destiny.

I purchased this game after I purchased BO3 and Star Wars Battlefront and wish I had bought this first. I thoroughly enjoy this game, enjoy the community of gamers involved with playing the game and the challenges there are. I wouldn't recommend children as they wouldn't be able to unlock the whole experience of the game because what a lot of the missions involve which is critical thinking and last moment decisions that will affect the victory out come of the game, anything goes, its not a game where the enemy is predictable, I recommend it to those that like exploring maps and finding rare exotic items

I was unfortunately forced to get the original game because I wanted the white PS4. But I knew that there would be many DLC coming in the future, and it finally occurred. With the Gamers Club reward, you really are getting a great deal for this version, as it includes all current expansion packs.

Base game came out at 60. The two DLCs cost 35. Buying The Taken King + all the DLCs (which were priced as such until the minute TTK came out) + base game when it came out was 60. Upgrading from the base game with the DLCs to The Taken King was 40. Not pleased that Bungie thinks the first year's worth of content, that some paid 100 for is worth 20. From Bestbuy's nice sale price + GCU and a few rewards certificates I didn't have to spend anything out of pocket. If you're new to destiny, it may be worth it. If not, and you can't get it for cheap, I'd wait to see what they announce for 2016. The game itself is fine as long as you have a friend or two that play as well. But even with all the paid DLC, Halo 2 still feels like it has more content. I would recommend it to people who haven't played it.

lots of fun to be had. graphics are still excellent by today's standards and the story is still great. a must have for anyone's game collection.

This purchase is crucial to destiny gamers. It comes with all the add-ons and the original destiny disk. After purchasing this I was also able to trade in my old destiny disk. Also a great shooter by both the creates of halo and call of duty. Must buy.

This game was great at first. There are plenty of quests to give direction while leveling your character. The pvp aspect is an alternative way of leveling if you're tired of question. However... that enjoyment only lasted for about 2 weeks. At that point, I was max level, enough requirements met to do most in game content. The game then became a chore. Grinding daily and weekly goals, that were all too similar. Being steered to game modes that you don't necessarily enjoy just to satisfy the daily.

This game was kinda hard to get into for me and put it off for black ops 3, but after I got back to it and started to get into it , it just grabbed me and as I'm finding out all the different things you can do this is a good game and would recommend to anyone that's into fps

I didn't get into Destiny when it first came out (which seems like it might have been a good thing), but they've got things right with the Taken King. It has kept me entertained for many hours so far and is very addictive. Would highly recommend.
