If you haven't played it, The Taken King is just a slightly more challenging version of vanilla destiny. The loot system still sucks. The game is still repetitive and lacks imagination. It seems like its kind of dying out, and for good reason. Save your money.

I should have read the reviews before wasting money. The trade in value of this $60 game is only $1. That should tell you something about the product. I do not blame best buy. I will do a little research before making my next purchase.

Very boring game to be honest. It has you team up for certain strikes. I only have one other friend I play with and it's annoying that some we have to team up with a stranger to just have the opportunity to play in some strikes.

This basically the same game with the title of the 3rd dlc included in the title.. its basically 3 dlc packs on one disc.. 2 dlcs people had all ready paid 30 dollars for 65 + 30 + 65 you do the math.

I played Destiny before the Taken King but the Taken King is what made me stop playing. There's lots to do I just wish they didn't change the level system. Overall I give it a 7. Good luck.

I have many friends that love this game. I like it in small doses but for the most part it can be repetitive. Its a good game that has a lot to offer, but not for me.

hard core 2 yr destiny vet burnt by designers. no mapping or explanation of any kind. same area over and over and over and over. idiotic nerds and buffs to equipment and classes. what works today won't work tomorrow. the end boss is always fought in complete darkness or blindness. they ought to hire writers instead of using it as a plot device. the crucible is all kill no skill.

if you like shooters then this is an okay game its got a good amount of hours in the story mode.

I absolutely love this game and a lot of the Destiny community. I hear a vocal minority complaining about the 'grind' of everything they have done and about bungies changes. The 'grind' is playing the game and I love it. I don't play strictly for the loot, that's the bonus. When they change the game I find a new ways to play and approach the different weapon choices. I feel that the game is always changing for better overall. I have put many hours in and I still don't have many items, and I have been dropped the same weapons many times and its not a big deal. So if your high strung, and always want the best of everything right away, and want the game to never evolve, and want the same predictable results every time, don't get this. If you are someone who likes a one player shooter with a outer space theme, original environments, pvp and pve variety, then get it, because I don't believe you will be disappointed especially since those who don't have the prior versions are getting the best deal by getting all of this for less than I paid for the total up to today. I have gotten my monies worth though. About 19 cents an hour.

This game is amazing on all levels of graphics, storyline, and online play. This would be great for someone who has not yet played Destiny or has played it, as you will be addicted right away.
