While Destiny does fall short of it's hype, it is still a great game with challenging and fun gameplay that is marred by a mediocre, well... everything else. The mission design is repetitive, the loot system is not rewarding, the lack of voice chat, the non-existent story and despite all this I keep finding myself coming back for the amazing gameplay.

Pretty good game. I like that you can find people playing in the same area as you and the 3 man team fire squad is pretty kewl. I wish they had mad it cross platform for the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. I have friends that have both. Seems to me that most of the characters are a little slow to start, but get more interesting as you make levels.

Purchased it as a gift for my boyfriend. He squealed like a teenage girl when he opened it (dont tell him I told you guys). I think I won the Girlfriend of the Year Award.

This game has kept me entertained for months. I am kind of disappointed that the DLCs are lacking a bit in frequency of releases but they are fun when they are released

Got this as a gift for my son and he can't put it down. The download did require more memory than usual, but once that was taken care of he was able to proceed with the game.

And it's not THAT good. It's an above average game. I gets very repetitive very soon. And most of it's content is restricted to XBL Gold. But I can't stop playing. Help :(

Great game, very good storyline, graphics and controls

Fun game, just really short, glad I bought the expansion pack, its very sad anymore that you have to buy an expansion pack to enjoy a game that you expected to be enjoyable but its not in the long run, the upgrades weapon system sucks! You very rarely get any thing that you can upgrade and in order to do the raid you have to send people invites to play not into that would rather have the system matchmake the game.

What can I say so good I had to buy it twice. Bungie has done a great job listening to the players. And with the Taken King they are taking it to another level.

Short and shallow story however great conceptual game waiting for it's future releases

I was looking for a good FPS that I could play alone. I'm happy to say that I found one in Destiny. It is pretty entertaining for a more casual gamer such as myself.

I like the fact that you can go off on your own and have partners to do multiple missions. I love that you have lots of different choices for missions as well.

Can't say much about the game since my son plays it. I can tell you though that it has GREAT graphics and HE really enjoys it. He says it is a really good game and also plays COD games. We had a weird problem when we first got it, regarding error messages and was able to fix the problem with help from xbox BUT NOT THE GAME MAKER. We had to research on our own online to find error codes and what to try.

Old school Halo fan. This game is like the perfect mix between Titanfall and Halo

Great game. The game has touches of Halo, Call of Duty, and Boarderlands all put into one; it is based on multiplayer and has an mmorpg feel to it, but it is an FPS at its core. Online multiplay is great, the story is good but kinda short, and the depth of the game keeps you from getting bored. There is a lot to explore and a lot to unlock and accomplish. I highly recommend this game.

I had been playing Destiny every once in a while at a friend's place and it seemed like a really fun, expansive game, whose entertainment value would multiply once I purchased my own copy. Once I created my own character, I found a very repetitive play experience (in a much smaller world than I had thought) -- and the only remedy is offered in the form of semi-annual DLCs which will pretty much negate the generous Best Buy discount offered on the original game.

Very pleasing to the eye and loads of action. Loads of fun with others as well

Haven't played it too much yet, but the bits I have seem fine. Graphics quality would have no doubt been better on Xbox One, but this is fine for now.
