Due to changing quest keeps you busy for awhile. Story is hard to follow but good for killing hours of time. Missions only run minutes long.

Ended up receiving the game for free as I did the buy a console and choose any game for free deal going on last week (Bonus: Madden 15 console part of the deal, 2 free games!). What a great choice. As someone who played the majority of Halo titles, you can see the similarities. The differences are where this game shines, especially the raiding/strikes. Strikes have auto-matchmaking so no worries if you don't have a party of 3 whereas Raids have no auto-matchmaking and require you to have friends (hint: be nice to people you meet in-game, you may find some raiding friends). I will say adjusting to the PvP game play was difficult. Not sure if it's because I stopped playing Halo after Halo 3 and moved to CoD (which has burnt me out beyond belief), but the aiming, jumping, specials, took a few days to get used to. Very addictive in the MMORPG way of griding/leveling/gearing/end content gearing. Having just leveled to the standard max level 20, a multitude of end game content has opened up be it new PvP/PvE gear, raids, etc.. All in all the game is worth picking up. I've found Destiny to be a happy medium between Halo and WoW, something I've never seen in a console. Now if we could just change the social aspect of xbox live such as banning all the kids and immature players.....

Destiny is as good as advertised. the game play is easy to follow and controls are easy to use. the only complaints i have is no local multiplayer and also no custom control layout option. I hate that the melee button is a trigger. EVERYONE knows its universally known as either B (Xbox) or O (PS) other than that the game is awesome

Had it for PS4 first and then bought it for Xbox One and it is much better on Xbox. Servers are way better on this console for this game.

Bought this game because I had heard mixed reviews so wanted to test it out for myself. Well it is a decent game to play online with friends but lacks something to keep your interest at least for me that is. Didn't find the story or the online play all that great after a few days just stopped playing and lost interest.

My son asked for this game continuously so I finally bought it. Good game and I love the perks of being in the Gamers club

this is probably one of my favorite video games ever. i've never really been into this type of genre but destiny isn't your average game

This is a great game to play online with your friends...if you don't have any friends find some to play this game with.

It reminds me of Halo, and there is a ton of stuff of do! It does fall on the side of repetitious. But it's a good time.

I bought this for my son and he loves it. It looks like a cross between halo and cod from what I've seen. I haven't played it personally.

I'm not a big gamer but when friends are online this is one of my favorites to play! Good story and graphics. Fun game!

Game is a lot of fun to play with friends. Didn't know at first it was all online but wither way still worth buying.

Ambitious game with amazing graphics, modes and gameplay. On the downside, if you don't have friends to play with you can't get the best gear. Who has time to find friends on forums? Until Bungie incorporates matchmaking in strike missions and raids, you'll be stuck at level 24-26. If you don't mind that, it's worth the money.

Lots of fun, good for both multiplayer fans and those who enjoy free roam! Lots to explore, and loot to be found, overall very enjoyable.

Incomplete in some ways but otherwise a mash up of a lot of popular games from this genre that's rewarding to advance in

The story seems like an afterthought, which took away from the enjoyment from me... this lost its appeal quickly for me.
