My grandsons absolutely loved this game for Christmas and take turns playing it all day long!!

Although somewhat overhyped, I rented the game at red box first and enjoyed it enough to buy it. Its like a MMO and FPS although there are elements which could have been improved upon. Overall its entertaining but certainly not going to win game of the year.

I was hesitant to buy this game because I have a friend that said it was not all that fun. But, I'm super glad I did. Even though there is no couch co-op mode, it is still a lot of fun to play solo. It has a nice pace for leveling up and getting gear. It's challenging without being too hard. The PvP I wouldn't recommend for people just starting out because gear plays a huge role, but it is fun at higher levels.

I have been enjoying this game, its great for playing with friends and or random online play.

Great game. A lot better than I expected, considering I am a die hard Halo fan.

Destiny is an awesome game at first, when you've only played each level four or five times. It's huge on grinding for better loot or to find items to upgrade your armor and weapons. There are several different currencies in the game that you'll need to upgrade your gear. It's a pretty game and technically a fine shooter, but it is just so darn repetitive. There are four locations, each with about five or six areas you can play. For the most part you can play them on various difficulties, but other than that they are the exact same. You can buy the season pass to get DLC with a few extra missions, but overall very light content. It was fun for awhile, but I have a tough time really recommending this game.

Overall I've played 30hrs of the game, so it is good, but there are quite a few updates needed to polish the product. Level 3 players get tossed in with level 20+ players, in P vs P, which means a one shot kill for top rank guys and several for lower rank due to upgrades. They " are working on a patch to try to remedy this," which is making everyone even across the board, but this isn't a great solution. Also the hours of gameplay are about 30 at best, unless you really take time to grind out shoot hordes that just keep coming off ships. There are missions that are endless, which start with beacons asking you to complete a task. Things were a little repetitive and if you don't follow all missions before doing multiplayer they become far too easy. There are always down sides, but again overall a good game that will probably get polished fairly soon... to become a great game.

Destiny is a great shooter/rpg! It dont set any new grounds as a shooter but what it does, it does well! Grinding to make your charcter(s) stronger can be very addictive! Graphics are great and controls are great but it can get repetitive at times! 8 of 10

Son loves the game plays sometimes he has other games but nba2k is his favorite

Very good gameplay but gets a bit stale after one playthrough of each mission.

It is a really pretty game visually speaking, great cinematics, the problem is that trying to merge a mmo game with a shooter didn't go quite good as expected. The missions can get a bit repetitive, so far there hasn't been much variety in the enemies, also the AI can be a bit dumb some times. The main problem I found was that when you start a mission with 3 or 4 more people you don't know can get problematic, the difficulty adapts depending on the number of players in the mission, the problem is when one or more of the players leaves the game you are doomed, the difficulty stays the same but now there are fewer players, it can be hard to always get together with friends to play the story and to do it all of you need to be on the same level all the time. Don't get me wrong, it is a good game, I would recommend it to a friend, it is just not as good as I was expecting.

Destiny is really well put together and one of the most enjoyable games i have every played.

Great graphics and controls, lots to see and explore. Rewards all over the olace, missions are replayable and still fun. Play it single player and then do the same mission later with your friends as a fireteam to get even more experience point to level up. Very satisfying game.

I am not a Halo fan. With that being said, I believe that Halo has been my favorite game of this year. You can tell that 6 years of work has been put into making this game. The whole game is fun and replay value is HIGH. If you are looking for a great shooter, look no further.

Fantastic game, very engaging, high replay value. Great graphics, and even the pvp is fun!
