Awsome game. 3 different game play characters and 3 different species (I.e human hunter, awoken warlock, etc.) That you can customize! Interactive and self earned achievements. Cannot buy your way through this game, you actually have to play to earn different weapons and awards and not everyone gets every weapon some are extremely rare because only few get them.

So you've heard all the mixed reviews in the media??? Well some of them are true. Destiny might have been overhyped, but that's only because some people were expecting something totally new, instead what we got was a collection of things that we love in other games into one. I admit that the story leaves much to be desired. It's all over the place, and sometimes I'm not sure what just happened. I like to think this is because Destiny is set to expand over 10 years as Bungie stated. So we are only at the beginning. The game play is fantastic and addictive. I recommend playing the story mode with friends or it could become a chore for one player to do all the epic battles. With all the good and the bad, Destiny is still the best thing you can be playing right now.

After several hours of playing, I can say that this game has a lot to offer, and should only get better. The story is a bit lacking, but the game play is exciting and fast paced. There is a TON to do in the game, between the story mode, different play modes, and PVP. Combine that with character modification and weapon crafting and there are hours upon hours of excitement. However, many of the battles do take place on only several "levels" (thus far), so the environment does not seem to be as big as they advertised. But, after being a long time call of duty/halo player, I am used to having limited maps to play. One of the coolest aspects of the game as well is the player to player interaction. Overall, this is a very fun game, offering hours of play time.

This game is great! I'm not going to lie, when I first got this game I was really unsure especially with all of the negative mediocre reviews it received. Well I am so happy that didn't stop me from buying. It is so much fun especially with a group of friends. The game community is also very nice and always willing to help out. This is definitely worth the buy.

Great FPS. It's basically Halo with better guns and no Master Chief

Hands down, Destiny will be one of the best games of this console generation. The social platform that Bungie created has enormous opportunity for enhancement in the future, and already offers a great way to meet new people and play in a number of different ways. Replay value is really high, as you'll want to keep collecting and collecting as you level up.

Great game, I previously had it on the Xbox 360 and I loved it then. The newer Xbox one version comes equipped with better graphics,visuals, and audio performance. With the $19.99 price tag its a great buy for your buck. Aslong as you have a couple friends to play with you can spend hours on end in a gaming session and wonder where the time went ;).

Ahh, Destiny. I've never been a fan of MMO's (massively mulitplayer online games) until this came along. The ones who made it, Bungie, are excellent at what they do, and they've made a shooting/exploration game that is second to none. A word of caution: if you have an addictive personality, be careful about picking this up! It's very easy to lose hours into it before you know! Because of its structure, there are always events, always things to do, always people to interact with. Aside from the inherent violence that comes with shooting games, its actually very mild on blood and everything else. So far I haven't even heard any swear words, (but that may be a different story when it comes to the competitive, player-versus-player portion, which I haven't touched yet). Because it's online, it requires a constant internet connection to play, so you may want to make sure yours is stable. Other than that, buy it, play it, and have fun! I would also say that you owe it to yourself to play this on a newer game system such as Xbox One or PS4, or a high-end PC. I'm sure it'll work just fine on others, but this was meant to be played on a new system. Don't sell yourself short unless you absolutely can't get to it any other way.

Played it for 3 hours. The pics are absolutely gorgeous. The battle looks very exciting. If you are liking halo, you must like it. Even though I thought this game has a lot of similarity as the halo, I would recommend it as a best game in 2014. Considering the price of this game is keepingly reduced, it is worth to try

I bought this game with hesitation because I heard mixed reviews about it. After experiencing it myself, I have to say that I don't regret the purchase. It's fun overall but definitely repetitive. The matchmaking leaves some things to be desired but it's still a fun experience. I do wish I had a few more friends who owned an Xbox One and played with me but a lot of them have gone away from gaming in general. And that's my only real problem with the game (not really their fault). I'd recommend this to people but I'd warn them to keep in mind that it's not really a game for casual gamers with not many online friends to play with. Xbox live Gold is also something of a must have when purchasing this game.

Great sci- fi game awesome graphics,weapons and missions

The controls for the game feel flawless. Bungie has perfected the first person shooter on any console. Visuals are top notch, and so is the soundtrack. The story is lacking, but for me, that isn't a deal breaker at all.

Among Destiny, you will find fantastic looking graphics, notable voices, and the inclusion of speeders, item drops, and a bank system. Unfortunately Destiny does not meet all the expectations. This is a great game, but after playing the beta, I have noticed no differences. With the absurd amount of money spent to make and publicize this game, there is much room for improvements. There is no feeling of being a part of a story, which lacks there of. Even though having item drops, it still doesn't fully incorporate them enough, as the added bonus of having to grind for experience. Destiny has great multi-player, wonderful locations , and is pointed in the right direction for a superb sequel.

I bought this game and got a great price because I priced match from Amazon. Remember to check walmart and amazon to price match guys!! The game is awesome. It is better when you play it online with friends. There are a couple of DLC's you have to purchase if you want to unlock more features and better gear. Get this game now!

I'll start off by saying the game does seem repetitive after a couple of missions but it's diffevent enough to make it a new experience. If you're used the to Halos and Call Of Duties then this will feel much like them. Having said that, it all comes down to story line... which is why I gave 4 stars.

Its a lot of fun, but endgame gearing can be a grind

Loved the game and its leveling features for your character and your gear. Also like the fact that it has endgame raid content, but no matchmaking for this is a negative. You can go to destinglfg.com and just enter your user name and usually get an in vite, but an in-game system would be better

Fun so far, I got it free with the Xbox one assassins creed bundle in a daily deal. Fun game although I haven't played much. I got 3 free games when I bought my xbox and have been trying to get around to playing all of them. This one has been on the backburner for the a few weeks. Looking forward to playing more though.

If you enjoy mmo's with a COD feel, this is a good mix. Otherwise, flaws I see are the story(not interesting at all), and current in game content. Defeating a boss is not very rewarding. Strikes are uber repetitive and still not that rewarding( unless it's the weekly), and armor pallets are extremely limited. Moreover, scenery, graphics, online playability, sound, and the fact that you can't trade are, in my opinion, the greatest aspects of the game. I just truly hope the future dlcs enhance this projects destiny. ( saw what I did there? Lol)
