Good game, lots of fun! The story is amazing and it looks beautiful. If you like a ton of action though, it may not be the game for you.

First off, this is not an action game! Nor is there a lot of live "in the moment gameplay." It's very similar to previous Quantum Break games, but if you haven't played those, then essentially it's a story game based on decisions and dialogue choices that plays out like a high budget choose-your-own-adventure movie. With that in mind, this game is AWESOME. The acting and graphics are incredible, some of the best realism graphics I have seen in any video game. And on PS4 Pro, this game is a real looker. The story was really interesting as well and I loved seeing where the three characters' stories develop and intertwine over the course of the maybe 10-12 hours. I played this game with my girlfriend (who likes gaming but doesn't play very often) and had a blast. It's the perfect game to play with someone who's not much of a traditional gamer and making decisions together to see how things pan out. Choices really do make a huge impact in this game and it was a lot of fun debating and making decisions on what paths to take. I'd highly recommend it.

This game is by far one of the best exclusives to play on the PS4 (I personally recommend playing it on the PS4 pro with a 4K tv). The story will get you very attached to these characters and your first play through you will most likely make choices based on your own personal opinion. Like I said before the graphics are incredible really makes the experience that much better.

I've played the other Quantic Dream games and this is my least favorite by far. It's not terrible but it was definitely not great. You play through 3 different character perspectives, each alternating after every chapter. It didn't pull it off the way Heavy Rain did. It felt a bit too distracting and I was pretty annoyed by it not transitioning well. The one thing I will give it is that the choices do seem to matter a bit more in this game, which is what this studio has been going for for a while now. Still, the story wasn't good enough for me to be really invested in the outcome. It often felt cheesy and predictable. Kara's story was pretty boring which was the biggest let down since she was what got me hyped on the game to begin with. Marcus' revolution was lacking real depth and felt a bit too rushed. Connor's was the only one that actually delivered substance. You see him as a functioning android serving his purpose in the beginning but you see him and his partner gain perspective and eventually develop some empathy for the other androids, and the road to that felt natural and not contrived. There was so much more character development and story that was desperately needed. The game is way too short and 8 or so hours split between 3 characters leaves so much to be desired. Yeah, you can replay it again and get a different outcome but I don't feel like I actually want to. There's nothing in this game that I want to replay or see turn out differently because the game just didn't do it for me. I'm a big fan of these choice driven games but this is the first where one play through was enough for me.

The graphics on this game are amazing. I’m also really enjoying the storyline. I would say if you like this type of game it’s a must have.

I absolutely love this game. So many different outcomes and so much replay value. I never found myself bored with this game. Does it have a slow beginning? A little, but as the story gets going, it just kept me wanting to play and I truly found a connection and care for the 3 main characters. Highly recommended. Every action has a consequence and I enjoy those types of games.

Enjoyed playing this and seeing how your own choices can have an impact on the story. Pretty light on action, but a solid plot

If you liked Beyond Two Souls and Heavy Rain, you will love this!

This is not a typical point and shoot game. It is all about choices that you make, and where those choices lead to the next question. Some discard the game as just button pushing game. There is some of that. But making choices is the main aspect, and see how things play out based on those choices are made. Don't be afraid of different genre of games. They are just different.

If you are looking for great voicework and a fun story that poses an interesting question on how we view AI, then look no further!

Great game. The graphics are wonderful. The story is some and moves well.

I went into this game not expecting all that much. I wasn't a big fan of David Cage's previous efforts. But what a pleasant surprise. I found nearly every aspect of Detroit to be far more fun and engaging than those previous games. Highly recommend to anyone that is on the fence. However I'm not sure it's gonna change anyone's mind if they don't like this style of game.

Usually not big with these pick your own adventure games, but this one is more than worth it. Compelling story and visuals.
