After this game was revealed two years ago at E3, I immediately knew that I'd be purchasing this game. After completing this game, I was sad that it had to end. Even though this is a single player story that revolves around three protagonists with completely different stories. This is definitely a must buy for any Playstation 4 owner.

One of the three characters provides you with a moral exploration of the world in the game. This characters story is interesting but fairly inconsequential and doesn't really mesh well with the others. This story, that of Kara, is what I think was intended as the 'heart' of the game. This story is fine but could have been better integrated into the rest of the story. Another character is the soul of the games story - reflecting on the 'why' questions in the games world and allowing you to question the status quo. This story is intended to inspire you and make you feel something. But this story is a dud - it's less of an interactive story and more of a lesson the game wants to teach to you. This is Marcus's story and it would have been better with less character involvement - maybe something that is happening in the world and impacts you instead of making you take control and play as someone super preachy and annoying. And then you have Connor - who I think was intended as the 'mind' of the game. Slight problem however - Connor's story has more spirit and heart than the other two characters combined. It explores the who and why of the world, it allows for moments of reflection, and it has a platonic relationship that is one of the best I've ever seen in a video game. If I was evaluating this game based solely off of this story it would be 5/5.

Detroit: Become Human has become one of my favorite if not my favorite game so far this year. Whether you are playing the game or watching someone play, it is incredible. There are so many ways the stories for each character can change based on your choices and decisions. Can't say enough good things about the game. Highly recommended.

If you ever played Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls then you know kind of what to expect from games developed by QuanticDream. This marvelous adventure game is full of some tough moral questions that will make you second guess yourself a lot and also scour every place you go for clues and more information. Do not miss out on it!

I've really enjoyed playing Detroit, it's brought back memories of books that I read and enjoyed as I child where you could choose what the character would do at certain parts of the story. Which would effect the ending of the story line. The only thing I haven't liked with the game is that at certain points the game forces you to make rushed decisions. In addition to setting time limits on the amount of time you have to explore each room, and the clues in said room.

The graphics alone are worth it but the story is great

Excellent game if you like this type of game, don't go into this game expecting it to be something it not and you will be ok. Did you play Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls and like the interactive movie style if so you will like this game if not you most likely should stay away. But I love this type of games so I would recommend it.

Just like my review title says this game plays like a scifi epic. Some dark scenarios wont appeal to all and are not easy to sit through however I believe add impact to the story. Definitly not for all ages but if you like science fiction and games where you pick different scenarios ie Telltale games then you'll love this one.

I'm a huge fan of previous Quantic Dream titles, and Detroit doesn't disappoint. Your story can really vary based on your decisions, and like all good story-based games, you will scratch your head from time to time wondering if you've just royally screwed up. I recommend this for anyone who loves a story and loves to think.

Just like any other David cage game. You will either love it or hate it and the ending will be alright.

This is a game of making choices and making them quickly. The story is interesting and you really feel a connection to each of the characters. The graphics are very good as well. There’s so many different outcomes not only to the ending but to the different chapters as well that you’ll want to play several times through.

I wouldn’t recommend this title to those who are looking for a ‘true gaming’ experience but it is worth the purchase because of the story it tells. It’s seen from the perspective of an android and focuses on their idea of emotions, how they deal with irrational & competing thoughts, the mistreatment of androids by humans and how they respond. It seems to echo some of the our darker (human) history. This is definitely a game that I’ll remember.
