Gameplay is awful. Spotty. Would not recommend. Not a good story line

For anyone who hasn't played these titles it is a FPS with puzzle elements that you can either blast your way through or sneak through. I always tend to play any game that gives options in a barbaric, kill them all, even the civilians manner. this game, unlike many others makes that extremely challenging. the AI is extremely smart and will go around different object, or shoot through things to hit you. running away is an option, except they tend to surround you and they will follow you across the map. Speaking of the map, it is a little quirky and the quest icons can be a little annoying at first, but you get used to it quickly. Good variety of weapons and the augmentations are always fun. There is a bit of a learning curve if new to this game, but all in all it is fantastic to play and gives you good replayability since you can go through all stealth (including talking your way out of boss fights), blast your way through, or a combination of both. Definitely a game worth investing in.

I watched the most recent trailer and the graphics review. Deus Ex have always had a great story line and a pretty fascinating stealth gameplay. I would recommend it to people who like games like Thief and Skyrim. It is a mix of both.

I have been a long time fan of the series. The graphics of this latest game are much improved over Human Revolution. Their world map appeared small, but there were several layers to them, with several missions. It was not entirely an open world, but it was open enough to where you did not have to follow the same path each playthrough. My biggest complaint was that there were several bugs, some were very nearly game bricking. One in particular forced me to stop playing the game for a few months. During that time, Square Enix was able to create a patch that fixed the problem, and allowed me to finish my playthrough without further interruption. Even with the bugs, I would still recommend the game.

For the most part Mankind Divided builds well upon the foundation set by Human Revolution but there are some drawbacks. The gameplay is very similar to HR but with improvements particularly in terms of the shooting mechanics. Unfortunately the story doesn't make the same steps forward and falls a little flat compared to HR and the hub world isn't quite as interesting. That being said, MD has some very interesting themes and the ability to choose your own style of play is a nice change of pace from games that are purely shooters or purely stealth.

I love this game because its Deus Ex. I've been a fan of the series since the PS2 port of the original. However, this game just isn't as good or unique as Human Revolution was. Plus, its got useless features stuck onto it by Square Enix, like micro trans and Breach mode, who nobody asked for.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is one of the best stealth/action games to release in recent years. The near-future setting of Prague feels alive and inhabited, and there are many nooks and crannies that are ready to be explored. Missions can be tackled using stealth, gun-play, or a combination of the two. No matter how you decide to play the game, excitement, tension, and pure fun are sure to be found.

The sequel does a great job of improving some of the mechanics that made Human Revolution a bit tedious although the narrative is somewhat less ambitious. Still, the gameplay offers a lot and the title is worth picking up on sale.

I've never played this series before. I'm liking everything so far. It feels like a deep story and very interesting.

The game's various puzzles and multiple variables to change the game's actions are great with the playthrough.
