They keep coming out and trying to tell me it's operator error and now they want to replace filters when along with not drying properly the unit is spitting oil onto my clothing. A new mesh filter is not going to fix this. They are probably spending more money avoiding honoring the warranty on this unit. I have bought many items from Best buy. I will not step foot in that store again and I would highly recommend to anyone I know to avoid them at all cost.

bluetooth connection problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.do not trust this place went there so they could fix my bluetooth they told me it would take 3 days , they called me telling me it would take longer waited about 1 week and they told me when i got there it was fixed just for me to come home and realize it was not fixed, they wasted my time thanks a lot a geek squad horrible customer service would not recommend to no one if it was possible i would leave negative stars.

She provided excellent recommendations on products to enhance the performance of the item being serviced. However, the wait time is extremely long, regardless of whether you have an appointment. Customers with appointments wait in the same line as those without, making it nearly impossible to be served on time, especially with only one employee working the counter. Best Buy should consider hiring more associates to separate the lines and greet customers during the wait. Additionally, no clear directions are provided before meeting with the sales associate, which causes even simple service inquiries to take an unnecessarily long time. On a positive note, the completed work was done promptly and even earlier than expected. However, the excessively long wait times make it difficult to recommend the service to others or consider returning in the future.

Poor customer service

Diagnostic visit of the Geek Squad indicated it was the power cord. I had to purchase the cord separately. The return repair visit determined it was not the power cord. I was charged the full price but was able to return the cord as it was not needed. The main issue, however, was how rude the repair person was to my wife. The dishwasher was broken and this individual felt it was appropriate to give my wife a hard time about the smell. He repeatedly told her how bad the smell was and that it needed to be cleaned. In addition to this, the door of the dishwasher does not function as it did previously. It does not fully open. This will make loading dishes on the bottom rack challenging once repaired. My wife asked about it while the Geek Squad was still at the house. They were dismissive and told her cleaning it would help. I called customer service about this and no one seemed to care. This indicates to me that this is commonplace and acceptable behavior.

Staff messed up my iPhone 15 pro max
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don’t come here without the knowledge that you will probably be working with people who don’t know what their doing and your stuff might leave here worse than when you brought it in. I brought my iPhone 15pro max to change out the back screen as it was cracked and after my 3 hour wait, I came back to my front screen cracked. I was baffled that they wouldn’t change it out for me as it was just the screen protector and they have many on the aisle but they said they couldn’t because I didn’t purchase it from them. I was confused and said but you guys broke the screen, I came in with a good front screen. They said nope, sorry. Very money hungry company, lack of an effective system as well as, no experience held, and no empathy or accountability for the mistakes THEY made. Will not be coming back here.

Incompetent and Rude

I declined only to have the computer returned and in non-working condition, with a rude member of staff acting super smart arguing it may have got worse (certainly while in their hands). Even more complicity.

Long waits...bad service and repair

They had to order the back part of my phone, and told me it would take an hour to an hour and a half, if that. When I made the appointment to leave it and get repaired..it took OVER 2 hours of my waiting. They kept saying "We're running diagnostics to make sure it's all working." Well...I get home and the cellular isn't working! I can't even make calls. So no having to go to ATT for help.

Geek Squad took money but provided zero service

I was just told by a customer Service Rep that the Repair Center didn’t even attempt to diagnose the problem because the laptop is too old to service. Alienware laptop purchased from Best Buy in 2017. It would have been nice if they had just told me it was too old to service before it was shipped and I paid for a diagnostic. The laptops date was known when I gave it to them at the store. The customer Service Representative refused to refund me my money even though she admitted they didn’t do a diagnostic or even open the machine. I’ll never do business with Best Buy again for a computer. When you pay for a diagnostic on an automobile they don’t take your money and then immediately tell you the automobile is too old to repair or even diagnose.

No Call No Show repeatedly - never use them!!

First service call I never rec'd a 4 hour window, then on day of I got a text saying they were at my house so I rushed home, no one was there. Tech said he never sent to the text, they have a new system that is screwed up. He ordered parts and said when they shipped he'd call to schedule install...its been three weeks. I finally got a date scheduled, again no show, no call, nothing! I have never seen such poor customer service I will NEVER buy anything from them again.

Gas dryer

My gas dryer has been out for month and a half, 3 diferent technicians more than 10 parts replaced and denied replacemen.t. Customer service said that the technician has to authorize the replacement, the technician said that the replacement department does it, the department said that the customerservice does. At the end I paid warranty for nothing and i will have to buy a new one. I will buy from home depot again. The warranty works 100%.

Terrible - Would give 0 stars

The tech called me to tell me he was going to be there in 30 min, and then never showed up. I called customer support who confirmed that since they missed the window, they would fit me in from 9-11 the next morning. No show. Nobody to speak to as the call center is in the Philippines, and no supervisor so they are just reading off a script. The Geek Squad canceled the delivery and said they were here, even though I have ytext messages from the tech 1 hour after the time slot ended, apologizing way after that time.

Geek Squad did a whole lot of nothing!

First one must have though I didnt know what I was looking at because he pulled up the screen of my cpu usage and let the graph run on my pc for an hour before disconecting (he must be paid hourly). The other 3 tried some basic troubleshooting and when they couldnt figure out the problem they just disconnected without saying a word. The last guy even tried to ask if he could put the issue in as resolved since he restarted my pc even though the issue was still persisting. After that he just left the chat. Guess im paying for nothing and gotta figure out the issue on my own.

In store Geek Squad

Today I had an appointment at the store for the agent to look at my remote control for the TV. She gave it one glance and said it's unfixable, not supported, and walked off. No recommendation for another one....nothing. Just a rude walk off. I always recommend Geek Squad but today was so unusual as to service, I am writing a review.

Fraud Alert!!!!

They will TEANM UP and scam you, I bought a computer and paid it off early. months later I get a missed payment alert on my phone. Geek Squad and Citibank were complicit with them and renewed a membership I never authorized. Why do I need Geez Sqaud for a brand-new computer? When I called Geek Squad they only prorated a discount on their fraudulent charge. When I called Citibank they blamed me, for a random charge I nver authorized,

Waste of Money

I finally went on you tube and had the problem fixed. The Geek Squad ain't what it used to be. Waste of money.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTICE

The appointment was still scheduled as of approximately 10:00 AM. When I rechecked the at 10:30 AM, IT WAS CANCELLED! I called BestBuy and they couldn't tell me why it was cancelled either by a technician or their "system". Either way, they couldn't send anyone else out today so my day missed work is wasted!!! I'm being passed around for 40 minutes now, trying to reschedule an appointment for another day. This is totally unacceptable. We paid for a three year protection plan and this is the first time we're using it. I expected better customer service from BestBuy.

Remote support just tried to run a scam

She said they could protect her if she would by a $700 support package. My mom's old not stupid and refused telling her to fix what she called about. The scammer finished by telling her to unplug her modem and computer when it wasn't in use to protect herself. Mom only knows the woman was in the Atlanta, GA area (based on the number). It sound more like it was a scam farm in Turkey or somewhere than Geek Squad. What the heck kind of people are you hiring? Are they running scams under to Geek Squad title or is this a normal business practice?

Will never use

Then she tried online to set it up through a chat. Had appt and was slowly typing in her CC # and they got impatient and disconnected her. They need to learn some patience. We will get help elsewhere.

Geek Squad ruined my Xmas holidays.

It has been three weeks and they cannot fix the issue about not cooling. Three different techs from Geek Squad were sent to find the cause even it was determined by the first tech and then their third party send techs twice without knowing what was the issue for required repair. Their techs and management is incompetent and idiots. They would not share any notes of their findings. Doors not get additional warranty from Geek Squad especially for large appliance. Best Buy sucks!!!
