    If there was a zero or negative then that would be more appropriate. Service, communication, everything is a joke. Don’t buy from best big and don’t deal with geek squad

    This doesn't even count as a 1 star, Not only can you get the same thing but for free on videos, It also takes at least 2 - 7 Weeks. You can get it faster by doing it yourself with just a few hours of research. Don't waste your money on this garbage

    Doesn't know how to replace a laptop fan

    Took my gaming laptop in to have a fan replaced. I got a fan off amazon to bring in for them to replace with the one I was having problems with, and was first told that it might not be possible because of could be soldered in but they would take a look at it. Three days later, I get a call that the fan I brought in was not the CPU but the GPU. I decided to open up the laptop to take a look at it before returning the fan and it looked like a fit to me. Took it into another computer service shop and they were able to replace it with no problems.

    I moved and my tv was packed in the original box and original pack and when I unpacked it and plugged it in after setting it up the screen had lines on half the screen. I called cause I paid extra for the warranty and geek squad told me the will cover it as a one time courtesy. That was a load of bull. I wasted half my day waiting on the tech to show up only to tell me they will not cover it. I called geek squad back because they are liars and the agent kept putting me on hold only to tell me they will not honor the original claim that they will cover it under warranty

    "Mounting the TV on a standard frame wall and concealing video cables". To clarify, this does not mean that cords will be concealed. The $249.99 is for mounting the TV only. I knew that I could incur additional to conceal the wires but that was not an option with this service.

    Very disappointed....Called Best Buy to hopefully get data recovered from a portable USB drive. I was told "No problem we can recover the data" I went into the store in Metairie only to be told that "data recovering on a portable USB port is hard. It's $50 to send off with no guarantee that data will be recovered" Was also told the last person the had a USB port sent into the repairs area was charged $1,300. This is Absolutely Ridiculous!!!! Not Thanks!!! Waste of my time!!!

    Geek squad canceled my appointment for no reason.

    I had a new radio installed in my car and everything was fine. A couple weeks ago my two front speakers went out at the same time. I made an appointment to see what was wrong and a day later I get a phone call. They claim it's the speakers which I can't imagine both going out at the same time. I had to wait about 2 weeks to bring the car in and when I got there today for some odd reason my appointment was canceled. They wasted my time and I feel like I was lied to about new speakers. Now I have to wait until January 2nd to get it fixed. Not a great experience at all.

    Geek Squad is a Joke like Best Buy

    Two supposed techs showed up and did not have the knowledge to hang the TV I purchased at Best Buy along with the mount. They did not have the tools needed to do the job. There have been over twenty phone calls made to Beat Buy with no resolution in sight. Was told the people on the phone clear out the calls as though they are completed when no resolution has been made. The TV slopes on the wall because they did not have a level. The two individuals did not know how to program the TV. We are going on nine weeks now with a TV that will only stay on for ten minutes at a time. On the phone with the Geek Squad over two hours today and still no resolution.

    the worst experience in my life I even think they start sending me scam email to try to get into my accountsince I became a Best Buy member I have not received no good service I'm not a person to complain but these people are doorsvery rude disrespectful hang up on you talk to you crazysorry to say don't waste your money or your time be careful with dealing with these people I think they give your information to other people

    I don’t recommend geek squad do not spend 200 dollars it is a poor service they are terrible customer service they said they want to fix your product but they dont and when you call customer service they hang out the call very disrespectful

    Purchased warranty with device. Still waiting a month later with no replacement. Appointment keeps getting canceled. I have paid for new warranty, paid for upgrade and nothing on there end is being done to resolve issue.

    Absolutely horrendous service! Store employees are no help at all! I simply just asked them to help me cancel my geeksquad protection plan and they couldn’t even do it. Instead of that they asked me to go back home to call support. Went back home, tried to call multiple times and the wait line was always 3 hours. Spent more than 2 hours of my day off on the line with the hope to get the support but my phone got dropped after it said your wait time was 2 minutes. Terrible service I have to say it again, be careful when you purchase a new phone and they ask you to join this scam plan.

    This has been the worst journey dealing with Best Buy that I am working towards my report to the Better Business Bureau & The Consumer Protection Agency. I have two TVs from Best Buy that failed both lasted about a year's timeframe. This company is the worst to buy from. I plan to let the world know that they must rig their TVs for people to have to go through a load of hassle with them. They need to be investigated.

    Never Ever sign up for geek squad protection

    Never ever sign up for Geek squad. Took a "protected" computer to be serviced due to a power surge which was clearly covered. Waited a day to have a service apt, which didn't fix the problem. the next day returned for another fix on the same computer and were charged close to 100$ for repairs. the fee was charged due to being too beat down after 5 hours waiting to fight at the time. The next day a call was made to request a refund and the tech over the phone transferred me over and over and started making disgusting noises on the line while on hold. I'm now asking for a full refund on the geek squad....horrible service!!!!!!

    Management refused to even look at my pc when all it needs is a bios update claiming it was too custom even though it's all a standard atx except the case which is a larger with more space to work in than a mid tower, again all i needed was a bios update, they would not have even needed to mess around inside the case

    Rude staff, basically told me they can’t fix my computer, so I took it home and fixed it in 30 minutes myself, went back another time to get a cpu cooler installed, and they installed it incorrectly and my computer temperatures are extremely high, don’t waste your money.

    I have had nothing but problems. Equipment fails, call the 800# wait on hold to then get passed around, scheduled appointments where the tech comes out and can't complete the work because they said they are too busy or didn't have the knowledge to do the setup, scheduled appointment and cancelled plans to wait 7 hours for a tech that never showed up with no call/text/email and I had to reach out to find out it was cancelled, orders cancelled with no reason given then immediately order again and it goes through.

    I purchased Geek Squad service for help with my computer. Years ago i was a member but ended my membership because I had nothing but problems. The agent was very difficult to understand. He removed programs and don't know which ones he removed. He tried to get me to buy more space. Hour of scans later, the issue I wanted fixed was never fixed. I will end my subscription when my trial ends.
