Thanks for the excuses
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Conner and Dave left me with leaky valves! They blamed my plumbing but weird how in seven years it's never leaked they said it's because we turned the main on and off but we just had a bathroom remodel and the water was shut off and turned back on many times and still never a leak ! Idk what happened or why but they gave no resolution. Also thanks for telling me to move a washtower by myself to fix a hose you knocked loose!

Geek Squad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Walked in to west henrietta location. Geek squad team member was rude and pretty much told me he cant fix my computer. Just said negative things that could or might be wrong. Very unprofessional.

Dell fixed what geek squad could not
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Two visits to geek squad. Them telling us they had to send our computer to technical support that would take my college students computer from him for three weeks. Dell fixed with a phone call. We needed an update. How did geek squad not know this?

Never Ever sign up for geek squad protection
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never ever sign up for Geek squad. Took a "protected" computer to be serviced due to a power surge which was clearly covered. Waited a day to have a service apt, which didn't fix the problem. the next day returned for another fix on the same computer and were charged close to 100$ for repairs. the fee was charged due to being too beat down after 5 hours waiting to fight at the time. The next day a call was made to request a refund and the tech over the phone transferred me over and over and started making disgusting noises on the line while on hold. I'm now asking for a full refund on the geek squad....horrible service!!!!!!

Don't Do What They Advertise
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My second time to go to Geek Squad on Park Lane in Dallas. First with my phone, today with my TV. Both times "oh, we don't do that..." was the answer, even thought Best Buy website said they do. Apparently, all they do is sit there and play video games. I'll never go back.

Refused service for no reason
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed help to install a new SIM card in my phone. Couldn't do this myself due to a disability. Geek Squad gave me a run around, asking all kinds of questions while not replying to my request to come in the next day. I have ended tup going to ubreakifix on the same day, and it was done literally in a split second. Shame on the Geek Squad. Will never go there again and don't recommend.

Crappy service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jess, our “agent” acted like it was a big imposition to show us the transfer from our old computer to the new one. She reluctantly opened the box and turned it on. When we asked about things transferring she said , “like what?” We said some of the important tax applications and she said no none of the apps would transfer and we would have to download them ourselves. When we asked about log ins and passwords she said she didn’t know. I’m wondering what, if anything was transferred. Not helpful or even polite. What a waste!

Go elsewhere
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Schedule an appointment for 12:40. There are 3 people in line in front of me none with an appointment scheduled. The geek squad members are taking first come first serve. I proceed to wait until 1:30 before one of the staff even acknowledges that I am there. Absolute horrible and rude customer service as well.

Very disappointed again.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased Geek Squad service for help with my computer. Years ago i was a member but ended my membership because I had nothing but problems. The agent was very difficult to understand. He removed programs and don't know which ones he removed. He tried to get me to buy more space. Hour of scans later, the issue I wanted fixed was never fixed. I will end my subscription when my trial ends.

Incompetent Tech Support
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My MAC desktop began running super slowly so I connected to GeekSquad for a tune-up. Afterwards it ran a little better but I realized that all of my iCloud files had been deleted. Then the desktop really bogged down and realized that 96% of the memory was being consumed by WSDaemon. I googled that name. It was Webroot! I reluctantly went back to GeekSquad and luckily got an agent that realized what was happening and he got the situation addressed. But, I lost my iCloud files and had weeks of frustration to the point I avoided using my desktop. NOT GOOD.

Buyer Beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had nothing but problems. Equipment fails, call the 800# wait on hold to then get passed around, scheduled appointments where the tech comes out and can't complete the work because they said they are too busy or didn't have the knowledge to do the setup, scheduled appointment and cancelled plans to wait 7 hours for a tech that never showed up with no call/text/email and I had to reach out to find out it was cancelled, orders cancelled with no reason given then immediately order again and it goes through.

Washer over a month to be repaired with warranty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a washer 4 months ago spent hundreds on it then purchased the warranty for a couple hundred more. It has already stopped spinning and draining. I had to wait over 2 weeks for a appointment for the warranty with geek squad for the tech to be there for 10 mins to tell me had to order a part and it will be another two weeks until he can come back! I’m a family of 8 and need a washer. This is unacceptable

Nightmare
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dealing with Geek Squad/ Best Buy over the phone is guaranteed to add years to your life for all the incompetence, stupidity, hang-ups, etc., you have to deal with. My computer has never been the same since I had the remote worker try to fix something . Trying to get a refund on Webroot never activated is another nightmare. Stay away.

Zero stars of possible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Customer service sucks. They will tell you they will contact you and just leave you sit. I’m over 2 weeks into a phone repair with still no working phone. Will never go to Best Buy for service again.

Completely Incompetent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Horrible. I just wanted a simple data integration as recommended by store tech. People didn't listen or comprehend, didn't finish the work, didn't care at all. Now my brand new computer is completely broken and I have to have mobile tech out to fix it. Nearly every person I spoke with was incompetent and didn't care. I will never use Geek Squad REMOTE ever again. Store service is ok and hopefully mobile will be. I would like my money back and a new computer. DON'T EVER USE GEEK SQUAD REMOTE

The Freak Squad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I have to deal with Geek Squad again, it will be to soon. Its a long story so I won't bore you. I will no longer be a Best Buy customer because of Geek Squad service. I was even sold equipment that I did not need by Best Buy and they wouldn't allow me to return it. Unlike the Terminator I won't be back!

Poor customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just purchased thousands in appliances for a remodel. I decided today to add built in eather net ports. I called geek squad 4 times. On two occasions I actually got to a human. First words they say are "can I have your number incase we get disconnected?" Well I did (TWICE). Been hours and nobody has called me back and I have since hire another company. This type of poor customer service has lost my business and by the reviews, I'm not the only one. Please fix this problem and keep your customers happy.

Poor remote service.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The service is poor. Wait times are very long. The company collects $150/year to provide service and then fails to provide service. I have been on the remote service for almost two hours tonight and never got through to an agent that could help. I can see why only 17% of people the technical support subscription are recommending it to others.
