    Customer Service At Its Worst

    Customer service has gone down the tubes at Geek Squad. To start with, they only give you a 12 hour window for in home appointments. 8 hours into waiting for them, they called to say they weren't coming at all, but could maybe show up a week later. Unacceptable under any circumstances

    Online Serivice Techs don't have adequate training

    I have used the online support since 2016 and the service has diminished. The online techs are courtesous and professional but not adequately trained. Sometimes I don't trust them on my computer because of their apparent lack of knowledge.

    Wiped my hard drive without telling me

    They wiped my entire hard drive without calling me or asking me first. I mean. Who does that? That's actually insane. Horrible way of operating. Never going back there again. They didn't communicate anything with me about my repair process.

    Do not use the Geek Squad for appliance repair.. They are now using 3rd party companies and they are unreliable. They are a no show, no call one day and now they are scheduled to come tomorrow and no call, and Best Buy/Geek Squad can't tell me when their coming or how to get a hold of them..

    Scam service that often doesnt fix your problems

    Within a year GeekSquad managed to: break a USB port on my motherboard, requiring a new one be bought (refused to do so through BB), and bricked my SSD. When the news from April 2024 repeats itself, and it will, I will not be upsetted.

    Bad Customer Service Scheduling

    I was scheduled three days ago for an appointment today at my house. It is now 12:50. I was told to be here between 7 AM and 7 PM. I just called and they do not have a record of me at customer service of an appointment. So much for Best Buy

    Very Poor Service

    In the past several months Geek Squad on site and remote service has gotten terrible beyond description. You regularly get cut off on calls with no call back, store services do not get completed as described and the call center is a joke.

    Horrible service! My computer screen wouldn't lit. They wanted me first to enter a password but when i was trying to retrieve it they said that they will do it anyway if I buy their plan for 199, but when i was ready to pay they said that if they found that it is a business computer they will stop repairing..

    Appointments are a waste of time. My appointment time is never honored when walkins are there b4 me. If I take the time 2 schedule an appointment, it shouldn't matter how many walk-ins are there

    Repaired damage, destroyed charging port

    I sent in my laptop, they fixed the physical damage and made it look new, and when I got it back, they busted the charging port. Will use a local shop next time :)

    I called to request a service for the cellphone I bought at Best Buy, they don't have a technician to fix it and not even the piece, and the store is 1:30 hour from my place, what this Geek Squad is doing there? Adornment?

    I have had (2) scheduled delivery/set-up appointments which HAVE NOT BEEN HONORED by this TOTALLY INCOMPETENT SERVICE!!! They give you a 12-hour delivery window, and then DO NOT EVEN SHOW UP…TWICE!!! I still do not have the TV I have already paid for…

    Never showed for 2 appointments which includes me taking a day off from work for. Never even called to reschedule yet they want payment up front. Been on hold for over 40 minutes trying to get a refund

    Online and phone help is lousy. The chatbot is useless. Very long and cumbersome procedure to get someone, and technicians don't listen to you, they just follow their script. I completely wasted my time (2 hours) with them. The

    The agents at Fields Ertel are the worst! They wouldn’t take my PC saying they wouldn’t help install a software I had trouble in. Worst, they were condescending to me and looked at me as a lesser person. I’m done with the people at this site.

    Arranging a geek squad visit will try your patienc

    Tried to make an appointment regarding my home theater set-up. It took me more than 30 minutes just to get to home theater division. Once there it took another 15 minutes to set up an appointment. Hopefully the geek squad will be more efficient and competent than the phone service. This is very different from past experiences.

    Replaced boards in Samsung tv none of the apps were installed and cand install apps .states app not available. Geek squad is a joke. But not funny to consumers. I will not purchase from Best Buy ever again!
