If i can give this Geek squad company 0 i would have . Waisted my time twice !!! Stay away !!!

I came to the Fairview Heights location with an issue. Nick was very patient and helpful I can’t thank him enough. And yes he did fix the issue and gave me things to look out for as well.

They never fix the problem and always suggest buying something new from them. They’re either scumbags looking for money or don’t know how to do their jobs.

Worst customer service. Never buy anything from best buy

Tech never showed. Waited all day, but no call and no service visit.

I had the pleasure of being helped by Jaz at the Geek Squad, and I can’t say enough great things about her! She was incredibly patient, professional, and genuinely invested in helping me figure out the issue with my Mac. Even though the problem was a bit tricky, she took the time to explain everything clearly, tried multiple approaches, and never once made me feel rushed or dismissed. Her calm demeanor and technical knowledge were truly appreciated, and her input helped me better understand my options moving forward. Jaz is a true asset to the Geek Squad team!

I have had the pleasure of working with Joshua Eggen several times and am always relieved when he's my techy. He is patient, kind, professional, knowledgeable and never makes me feel incompetent or stupid. And he allays my fears and makes me feel confident that whatever ails my device, can be repaired. Thank you for having such a great employee!

I was so thankful I was able to make an appointment to get my laptop worked on the same day I first called Geek Squad. When I called in I wasn’t expecting to speak with a live person. The person I spoke with on the phone was friendly and knowledgeable and I wasn’t on hold for more than five minutes. The line moved quickly at the Geek Squad Best Buy location, and shortly after telling the employee that I had an appointment, I was helped by Scotty. Scotty was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the nature of the challenge I was experiencing in a simple and non patronizing way. He was patient and gave me clear information. He got my laptop working and answered all of my questions. Later when I realized I needed something additionally the next day, I went back to the Geek Squad at the San Bernardino Best Buy location. This time Ed helped me find what I needed and he also was very respectful and willing to help me. I’m so thankful for the personal attention and expertise both Ed and Scotty share with hardworking people that don’t have a lot of extra time to get their technology in working order. I would definitely recommend the Geek Squad to anyone!

I’m a Total Tech Member. Let Me Tell you Poor service all the workers need to B fired don’t know why they works here no type of help people need service in they play a bunch of games over the phone can’t ever get a supervisor they never call like supposed to be able to speak to a live supervisor they don’t supervise they calls needs a bunch of young folks or something someone has to do the job people not getting service they shouldn’t be in service. Neither they should close this whole company down. I need a lawyer to sue these people. It’s like a bunch of games. Grown kids playing over the phone I wrote to corporate they didn’t wrote me back call email nothing cash grab from customers like I pay $200 for this I need to file a suit against these people it’s giving me they scamming us or something I pay money I need service

Kim provided excellent assistance with my laptop issue. Despite the simple solution of correctly plugging in the charger, he remained friendly and offered valuable advice for extending my laptop's lifespan. He exhibited patience and kindness towards all customers.

The agent had such a strong accent it was very difficult to understand her

Mark was awesome, the other people who helped were awesome. They couldn’t resolve my issue because they didn’t have the part in stock, but they were all very kind, consistent and handled the stress of a bunch of customers coming in at once well (which happened right after I got there). I was a walk in so 3 appointment people were seen before me, which is fine. The staff checked in with me periodically and reassured me they would get to me as soon as they could. When they did, they diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. Then they gave me advice on next steps. Good team working 9/25.

I LOVE Best Buy GEEK SQUAD Boynton Beach, FL. I have used them two times for computer problem trouble shooting... use my PC/Internet for just about everything... cannot go without! Make appt or walk-in - service done within short period of time. THANK YOU GEEK SQUAD!!!

I've been using Geek Squad's service for a few years. BooDoo is a gentleman who is very intelligent. He knows what to do to fix my computer problems, no matter how difficult they are. He has made my laptop work as the way it should be again. I can't thank him enough. I hope he can get promoted. Michael in Eatontown, NJ

I recently purchased a Nvidia Pro for my home entertainment area but was not able to utilize it with my current receiver. So, after purchasing an up to date receiver for it, I opted for the Geek Squad to help connect it for me. After setting up a date to have them come out and upon the day of the appointment, Jimmy contacted me MULTIPLE times to confirm his arrival. Each and every time I spoke to him on the phone, I knew everything was going to be OK. His true professionalism and the courtesy he shared put my mind at ease. Jimmy and Jae showed up on time and were ready to go. Both of them were awesome to speak to. The way each respected our home and treated the situation was a relief. Sometimes you have people come to your home (plumber, electrician, etc.) and they just want to take your money and get in and out. Jimmy and Jae were the complete opposite, for they took the time to get everyting set up and walked me through how to use it. Both Jimmy and Jae were so fantastic, I only hope that more people get the opportunity to experiece how helpful they were. If I'm ever in need of the Geek Squad service again, I would hope that I can ask for them because they were so aweome. Thank you both Jimmy and Jae for a job well done !!!!

I was working on my homework and accomplishing my goals. My computer ran out of battery. I thought it was my power cord. Unfortunately, it was my computer. The cost of the repairs would be a lot and take the weekend. I had a paper due on Sunday. I was in tears. Max to the rescue. He recommended a new computer. He then assured me that he could get my files by the day. Much to my surprise he had it done in the next few hours. He sat done with me and made sure i had all of the files I needed. He even stayed a few minutes after the store closed. Max at Bowling Green, Ky is amazing.

I had a wonderful experience with the Geek Quad. The technician was able to resolve my computer and printer issues. He was patient and made sure I understood the technical questions I asked. As a senior citizen, I appreciated his patience. I will request Mr. Tommy Tubbs as my techician if U ever need service again.

I brought in my home built gaming pc that was not posting anything and was just collecting dust for about a year. I then paid for Bestbuy membership to ensure all my electronics can be checked if broken. Carlos was super nice and helpful and fixed it within a week. He also explained the problem, it being the cpu was dead because it was old. Thanks to Geek squad my pc was fixed fast!

My chrome book stopped working. Took it to the Geek Squad and Chavez LaGare, the tech was able to pinpoint the problem and solve it immediately. He was extremely helpful and explained things very well. Unfortunately for me I had to purchase a new Chromebook. But he set it up and got me going in no time. I would highly recommend.

Young gentleman by the name of Kyler helped us at the Grande Prairie store today. He was amazing, helped two older ladies get a locked I pad up and running. He was very patient and extremely helpful. Thank you again Kyler !
